These are great handles. Feel good quality and look expensive. Have covered the old handle marks and still look brand new months later, even with all the sticky little handprints constantly being cleaned off!

Bought several locks via Amazon, from Carlisle Brass both the SZR012 PN and the 013PN, and they are very decent for the money, and look great. However, Amazon have a glaring error on their “buy with” information. It’s incorrect. It suggests that you can fit a Mortice Latch Lock, (part number TML125n) with this handle, which indeed you can. But when fitted, the lock mechanism on the handle won’t work!Item SZR013PN needs a Latch and Dead Lock ( see Carlisle Brass BAE5025NP) a totally different item, and much more involved to fit!I was looking to for a ‘Privacy Bathroom Lock’ which is slightly smaller in length, (such as Victorian Scroll Privacy Bathroom handle.) and much easier to fit.Because I purchased all new doors for the house, I wanted matching handles. Great, I thought, Carlisle Brass do both types, (standard handles and privacy bathroom handles) because the Amazon ‘Buy with’ information indicates that you can fit a ‘Latch Lock’.They all arrived, and I fitted them all, did the bathroom locks last, and ….locks don’t lock!Now I have a problem. Either fit the full latch and deadlock, which is much more involved to fit (which I don’t want to do,) or change to the correct (smaller) Privacy lock, which when fitted will show holes from the larger door handle.Either way, this would not happen, if the correct information was displayed. Fairness to Amazon, they have offered a full refund on the original locks but it is really avoidable problem.

Very good handles and chunkier than some of them you see in hardware stores. Carlisle brass have always been good. But like everything you buy now cheaper materials are introduced in to the finished product
