Love that they are housed in metal and have bright yellow coloring. We purchased to use in the classroom of our quilt store so that multiple students could plug in their machines. Long cord reaches easily to tables in near center of the classroom and the color makes them very visible for location and safety. Also like the overcurrent capability at the plug instead of having to go to breaker panel if they become overloaded.

I didn't buy this to e on a construction site or anything like that. I just used it in my studio at home. Still, I haven't had one problem with it, even though it's been dropped several times. I'm sure I'll have this thing for years to come. Great product!

I bought this in fall of 2017. I used it to run outdoor lights/decorations in an entryway that was almost entirely sheltered from rain and snow for several years. The long cord was perfect to connect to an outdoor outlet nearly 8' away. Unfortunately, I didn't get to decorate with lights last year due to a newborn in the house, and this fall when I went to use it again, I found that the switch had failed at some point as many have described there. It would not stay on without something pressing down to hold it on. I was very disappointed and reached out to the company given I suspected the switch might have failed a year ago (within warranty). Unfortunately they held firm to their three year window and would not help me now.For the price this is a good value for what it does, but given how many other power cords and strips I've had last much longer, even with outdoor use, I wish this one had been more comparable. And for those who use it for more critical purposes like camping etc, you may want to consider other models/brands if this risk of switch failure is a serious concern.

After reading some of the reviews I was concerned about this item. It arrived earlier than expected and was exactly what I wanted. It appears to be well constructed and was exactly as described. I have only had it for a week and I use it for my trickle chargers but has worked perfectly so far. Thank you

Bought 2..... the switch went out on one of them a month after buying. Now the switch has gone out in the other one. These are not even 3 months old.Update 4/17/18After posting my review I was contacted by Bestten and they sent me 2 new outlets. The new ones have worked flawlessly! Some of the best customer service I’ve seen in a long time. For that reason alone I’d purchase again.

This thing looks and feels really solid, BUT, after 3 months of very moderate use the switch stopped working. At that point I read some of the reviews by dissatisfied customers, many of whom reported exactly the same problem. I contacted the company a week ago about the 3-year warranty, as per Amazon's instructions. After a short wait the item was replaced and has been working fine.

I really needed a heavy duty power strip to run heaters without being shut down. I also needed the LONG cord to allow me to put it a distance from the plug available in the room. This strip can support quite a lot and safely. I did not mount it, simply have it sitting on the table where my portable AC sits along with the heater since BOTH of these need to reach up to the loft bed and bird cages in a room with a 12-foot ceiling (I know, a unique situation which is why I needed this strip) I am VERY pleased.

Heavy duty, will definitely handle the load! The layout was perfect for me. The three big space outlets were perfect for my 3 major appliances, and the small single outlets work great for my table lamps, and fans.

It’s much better then I expected, works amazingly, love that it’s 12 feet long, seems like great quality, time will tell, arrived on time, I would recommend this gladly.

Own 3 of these and use them to power my 1000 watt grow setups since they easily handle the load.Great length on the power cord and sturdy metal construction with mounting holes on the back and a rubberized hanging loop make these a must have in your tool box for anything.

I installed this yesterday and so far it works well. The only thing I dislike is the installation as you have to line up the 2 screws behind the unit and hook it it up that way. Thus you have to be careful when unplugging a tool from the unit as it sometimes unhooks itself. I just wish that they would provide holes to screw the unit in directly. This would make it much more practical.

I was unaware of this product, rather one who suffers through Power Bars, and also one who truly hates wires & cords. A friend of mine purchased one of these, and just looking at it, never mind holding it, it is solid, high quality, and made to accommodate Adapters, which, with traditional Power Bars, often take up part of the space for the next spot another electrical cord is to plug in to; otherwise, wasting an outlet. It hangs nicely on the back of my desk, everything off the floor and highly recommend...

I replaced a power bar that had lasted over 30 years. This one is more elegant and just as functional, with features such as USB points that were not even imagined 30 year ago. Clearly, good value.
