This wireless meat thermometer is a success, to begin I will say that its use is not complicated since it has automatic pairing without difficulties. The quality of the unit is robust and of good quality in all its parts. The distance it has according to the manufacturer is 490 feet to signal remote so calculate the distance and verify it and it works the same as indicated, very satisfied with that point. It has 4 probes for several types of meats at the same time and that is great when making BBQ for the family, also these probes are made of stainless steel. This equipment makes cooking easier since we do not have to continually check the meats because the readings are on the grill and on the remote unit. I am definitely impressed and my kitchen has now gone into the "big leagues" 😂😂 This is an ideal gift for any occasion and now I consider it for Father's Day and for this summer I recommend it to anyone. I used it for the first time to make smoked pork butt--one probe inside the smoker/grill, one inserted into the meat. I was able to monitor for 10 hours straight, no issues. The remote's range is fantastic. Although it says it has a 490' range, I was doubtful that it would work from my upstairs office, some 50' away through a few walls and a floor, but it did without a problem (I wish my home wifi was this good). It made it so easy to make a great smoked pulled pork. If it had a temperature range alarm for each probe. it would be indispensable for making smoked meats.It's so simple to use. It doesn't have any other bells or whistles. The timer is not useful for smoking meat (only has a 99 minute timer), but good for steaks. The base and remote unit backlighting cannot be kept on, and must be manually turned on and turns off after a few seconds. I suppose that's okay, and keeps from draining batteries, but would be useful for at least the remote unit, especially for night time use; but the light button is also the toggle for C/F, so that's a little annoying.

I like having the 4 probes to use on different meats. This worked well on two Briskets in a wood burning offset smoker. My one and ONLY complaint is its a little complicated from some others I have used in the past. However once you get it figured out it's a good temp gauge. I would recommend keeping the instructions until you use it a few times.I would definitely recommend this product to anyone that has the ability to smoke more than one piece of meats at one time.

I found myself lost a little on how to use it well, because stubbornly I did not follow the instructions. The digital display on both units is very large and easy to read. Both units require batteries (2 AAA each). The prove is long enough to set aside on your BBQ unit, keeping it safe from the fire. The receiver can be place on a different area. I have tested how far they can reach and communicate with each other. I setup the probe and routed the wire and place the unit on the shelf on the side of the BBQ grill for safety away from the fire and my wireless receiver was put on about 15feet away and it worked just fine. From time to time it would display an error message, but I think that was when I moved too far. I cannot explain why on what the max distance would be since metal interferes with wireless signals. Overall I am happy with this devices because I don't have to be guessing if my meat is cooked on the inside!

I have cooked hundreds of pounds of meat with this setup. It works fantastic. I love that you don't have to push any buttons to read temps on all four probes. My only idea to improve it to make it perfect would be to color code the probes. Low and behold they did that on this set I see. I wish they had done that earlier as my set does not have color coded probes. for the money I think this would be hard to beat.NOTE: Do not soak the probes in water. I messed a couple of mine up by doing this. Just wash them with a wash rag but I would not submerge and soak them for a long period. They worked fine until I did that.

Very well priced. Worked straight out of the box. Accuracy is very good. Tested it against my other digital therm.s and it matches them within a degree or two. When using my side smoker on the backyard patio, the signal has go through/around four walls and a chimney stack for a distance of about 45', plus all of the indoor electronics (TVs, computers, Wi-Fi router, etc.). Not a problem for this unit. The temp and time match. I've used them for about 40 hours so far, and have noticed no need for battery replacement.

I've only used this a few times so I can't comment on longevity of the product. However, I feel the value proposition is really good. The units seem well constructed and easy enough to read and use and the probes are impressive (hefty!). You can manage each of the four probes independent of the other three. So you can have one probe set for meat, another for chicken, and another for fish. You can also set meat by temperature or taste (i.e. medium, well, etc.). I'm sold. Good product especially for the $$

This is so easy to use. put in the batteries, plugin the probes, and turn on the 2 units. they're easy to read. for the basics - just wanting to know the temp of the food - you don't even have to read the directions. There are also other features which the directions may be needed. The receiving unit is very convenient to use, and has good range. The best is that there are no apps to download. This is a good buy!! Enjoy!!
