Burns Hot
The best part about these lights is the low energy use and small size of the fixtures they're used with. Even at low wattage these bulbs burn quite hot. I'd recommend these for lizards that need a high heat basking spot but not snakes. In 12" high cages I've recorded the temperature at the substrate as high as 117 degrees so I'd suggest using a stand or having at least a 15" high enclosure if not taller. This light did seem to zap the humidity from my enclosures. Definitely use with a thermostat and double check temperatures to be safe.

It's what lizards need.
Recently purchased a new light fixture for our 8-year-old bearded dragon, it takes these lights. He instantly went into a very hard molt like I've never seen before. He probably feels amazing. I would recommend these.

Not as much heat output as I'd hoped.
I bought this in conjunction with the Zilla Mini Halogen Heat and UVB fixture for a 10 gallon lizard terrarium. The 25 watt only heats up to about 80 degrees a mere 3-4 inches below it. I also bumped up to a 50 W version, which only added 2-3 degrees additional temp.

works great, but generic G9 bulbs produce the same 3200K and a 5 pack is around $11. Using for chameleons. No complaints or issues, other than pricing.

Bright bulb keeps Mr. Lizard cozy
Very tiny bulb can light up 15 gallon terrarium with ease. Helps to keep my leopard gecko's habitat at a comfortable temperature. Has continued to work as well as new for over a month.
