A Time to Be Brave
Between a worm afraid of dragons and a young possum afraid of owls, there's a lot of fear ping-ponging back and forth to the point that two characters get injured and there are a lot of hurt feelings. How Owly and friends solve the problems and put out all the fires is through creativity. Good for all ages.

Great comic for younger kids!
What a wonderful book for my daughter who loves comics. This was a great choice as we get to make up our own stories and can make it be whatever we want! If you go onto the author's website, he also has lesson plans that you can download for free and use in conjunction with the book which work great if you are unschooling/homeschooling!

A new friend for Owly and Wormy...but not at first!
I thought the narrative in this volume was a bit more challenging than the previous three (for both the artist and the reader, I'm sure!). Another nice addition to the cast shows up in this story.

Owly rocks
These are great for the younger set - my kids flipped through these all the time before they could read, and they loved me going through them with them.

bought for 2nd grade classroom
Very cute books. My students love the drawings and story line. If you are looking for AR books, be aware that this is not an AR book and is deemed not quizzable. However, it is still a good book :)

Owly is Great for Non-readers!
If you have students who cannot yet read or really struggle with reading, Owly is a great comic book option for them because there are no words. My primary students really enjoy Owly! He's so cute!
