Shipping was Fast. Amazingly received unbroken with lack of shipping protection. Two pieces of scotch tape to center on cardboard insert, which was broken, One sheet of paper sized bubble wrap, placed on the opposite side of the cardboard insert, leaving no protection between screen and box. Works Great so far. Good Luck

Works and looks great, I was on the fence about replacing parts in my dell inspiron but I really didn't want to buy another laptop if a $40 part would fix my screen issues. I had about a dozen or so vertical lines going down my screen that a LCD cable replacement didn't fix. Since I knew how to take apart the entire laptop by that point, changing out the LCD screen only was a piece of cake & there are plenty of videos out there.The screen came with a plastic cover, it does have a red pull tab so it is fairly obvious you need to remove it prior to installation! I would maybe recommend using latex gloves so you don't get a fingerprint on the inside of the glass screen when putting it back together...I also have the touch screen inspiron 15-3521 and the border around the monitor that comes apart looks slightly different than in the online tutorials but overall it didn't change the process. Luckily the touchscreen hardware wasn't damaged and is still working now, I wasn't 100% sure when I ordered this if the LCD component was related to the touchscreen but luckily it is separate.

I successfully installed this in my old Dell Inspiron 15-3521 Laptop whose screen had shattered. I followed the YouTube guides for taking apart the laptop and installing the screen. The screen works, but has two annoying issues:1) There are 2 dead pixels. Hardly noticeable, but not ideal in a replacement screen.2) There is a constant buzzing when I set the laptop's brightness to anything less than 100%. Since full brightness is like staring into the sun, this can be very frustrating. Looking around at different forums, this is probably baked into the hardware itself, so there's not much that can be done about it.

Part took about 3 min to install. Was able to fix my laptop. Only issue, was there was two bright spots on the new screen. I didnt return the part, because clients did not care, they were just happy to habe their laptop working again.

I'm not tech savvy at all, this was super easy to install. To be honest I was worried I wouldn't be able to install it. Also concerned about the quality since I've never purchased or installed a screen before. I just replaced it and it looks perfect! Fast shipping and carefully packaged! My computer screen broke several months ago and I put off getting it fixed because I thought it would take forever and be really expensive. I called up a computer repair guy to see what I could do and he told me I could just buy a screen off Amazon for around $50. what?! I was really impressed with the price of this screen and the reviews made it seem like a great buy. It shipped super fast (and came undamaged), and like many other reviewers I was able to install it myself fairly easily with the help of a youtube video. I have never done a repair like this myself and I am terrible with electronics, if I can fix a computer screen so can you! :)

I am not savvy with computers AT ALL or installing anything. I followed a youtube instructions on how to install the replacement screen and low and behold, it worked! It took me a while because it was making noise when i booted up and would not successfully power up. After trouble shooting and discovering that the monitor connector was loose, it worked flawlessly. So make sure when you take off the old screen and disconnect the monitor/video connector be very careful and be gentle and put it back on the right way. After months of using my laptop with a broken screen I now feel like i have a brand new laptop!! Delivery was fast too. Highly recommended!
