These are not as heavy gauged metal as the Weber ones but I they work and I hope they will hold up. My original set is17 years old and despite some eroded sections still worked. I just chose to update the grates and flavorizer bars.

Definitely quality made and worth the money. I am glad I switched to stainless steel from the porcelain barsWhen I turned my grill on to season these new bars I noticed my grill got real hot real fast . These bars were glowing red hot. So I did an experiment New Stainless Steel Bars vs New Porcelain Bars. Well , the porcelain bars were actually 4 months old but only used 3 or 4 times . The experiment was " The Race To 500 Degrees "I let the grill get stone cold then turned it on and set each burner on High. I timed each set to see if there was a time difference to get to 500 degrees letting the grill go stone cold in between . The stainless steel bars reached 500 degrees 2 1/2 minutes faster than the porcelain bars. So what does this mean ? It means in a life or death starvation situation I can have my burger on my plate 2 1/2 minutes faster to save me from starving to death ! LOL

Liked the price, fast shipping and to some extent, the quality. The latter consists of 20 gage aluminum, which is pretty standard at this price range; seems a bit light and it remains to be seen if it is durable. No flareups, heats pretty even. Dripping mess held to a minimum. The fit was perfect on my very old Weber Silver A grill. Overall, pleased and recommend.

The bars seem made well enough. They are thiner and taller than the factory bars, and come to a point rather than rounded on top like factory. They are cheaper than factory. What i have noticed is the grill does not run as warm, nor is the heat as even. I just think they are too tall and the shape does not spread or hold the heat as well. I am going to replace with the factory porcelin. I am sure these would last longer being stanless steel but the grill does not work as well. Ohh well, wasted a few $ on these and will keep as spares.

Arrived on time, fit the weber well. They are for an older grill going to our summer lake home so I have not tried them yet. Seem a little thinner than the last set of bars I installed in a grill.

The bars must be squeezed to fit in the slots, but it was easy to do and they work very well. Being stainless steel, they should outlast the original bars which rust away regularly.

The plates fit the grill perfectly and were stainless steel, so better quality than the original plates.
