Q: Does the phone come with handset, cords and backplate for wall mount?

Yes, the unit is complete with the handset, handset cord, line cord to the wall and can be wall mounted. The wall mount is accomplished by turning the back plate 180 degrees. The phone is complete and inclusive of everything you need for operation with your Nortel/Norstar phone system.

Q: This phone does not ring/pick up calls when calls are coming through the the other office phones. Does anyone know how i can fix this please?

Did the old M7100 that you replaced with the new M7100 ring/pick up calls when calls are coming through the other office phones? If not you will need to have someone make some programming changes to the system.
