Solid bench.
Holes were a little difficult to align. I ordered a pre-stained one and received an unstained one, but I can take care of that. Seat could be a little wider but still is comfortable.

Just what I wanted!
I love my new swing! My old one was splitting and beyond repair after 15+ years. I searched across a number of websites and this one was the closest to the old one and had the best recommendations. This swing is perfect for my needs and the craftsmanship is outstanding. I used spar urethane on it since it will be outside in the sun and elements. Gave it several coats and will refresh the coat when needed in the future. It was very easy to assemble. The instructions are easy to follow and color pictures are included. Following a recommendation on another review, I purchased swing springs which make the swing super quiet when in action. The removable arm rest and cup holder is awesome as I always have a place to put my glass of wine! I hope I get another 15+ years out of this new swing like the last one!

Excellent swing; easy assembly
Excellent product! The swing arrived in a large box, and consisted of only 5 pieces for relatively easy assembled. We have used it over a dozen times already; it sits very comfortably, it shows no signs of warping, and it looks amazing!A few key points.1.) the wood is not treated / weather proofed. Before assembly, we coated the entire swing with Minwax “polycrylic” clear satin. It dries in less than 3 hours between coats, it only requires two coats, and there is no residual tackiness or stickiness. After over a month of being outside, the swing continues to look amazing.2.) it’s clearly listed in the ad for this swing, but you need to buy the springs and ceiling hinges separately. Do yourself a favor and buy the high end, galvanized hardware.3.) during assembly, we discovered that the instructions were not accurate; it listed additional hardware and holes that our swing did not have. After a few minutes of trying to find the missing hardware and holes, and figuring out that they didn’t exist, we moved onto the next step and had to change the remaining “letters” that identified the hardware that we did need.4.) during assembly, the holes did not line up for one of the final bolts. As a result, we had to force the bolt through, which ended up enlarging the hole a bit and splintering the wood. It’s minor, but required a bit of muscle (and a hammer) to punch the bolt through.

Very nice
Very nice and easy to assemble alone. As other reviews one hole had to be drilled out buy it was easy and only took a moment. I have had about 700 pounds of people on the swing and it held up fine. I did replace the chain with some I bought at home depot as I was hanging from a pergola and needed the extra length and wanted to run all 4 chains up to the rafters. Also want to note that the swing came in much faster than expected, I received it in only a few days.

few wood cracks, splinters
One of the flange bolts was the too big for the bolt I was given. There were a few wooden parts that had cracks in them. Spider webs were in one of the arm rest holes. The other arm rest hole looks like the spade bit that drilled the hole splintered the exit area and left a damaged area with sharp edges. It is on the bottom of the arm rest so you won;t see it, but your fingers will feel it as they grip the arm rest. So I have to go buy a flange bolt that will fit. I worry about the integrity of a few of the wood parts due to cracks in them.
