Sarah Connor - Sarah Connor - desertcart.com Music Review: Five Stars - Great Review: Sarah Connor - Her american CD is basicly a compilation of her biggest hits from Germany/England ect... Except its missing her best song and her first #1, "From Sarah With Love" is strangely absent. 1. Bounce-10/10, Everybody has heard it. Never gets old. Her biggest hit in the US. Honestly a Good song. Super Catchy will have you dancing. "Bounce baby out the door, i ain't gonna take this no more" 2. French Kissing-9.8/10, A good sultry and sexy song. She sounds so hott when she sings this song. Her voice is so sexual in this song she even gives her classic power vocal at the end. GREAT "give it baby give it in the car, take it baby take it wherever you are" 3. Lets Get Back To Bed - Boy!-7.5/10, Not bad just not may favorite from this CD. She has her voice digitalized in it but it sounds good. "April til' November i will kiss you tender" 4. Skin On Skin-10/10, A classic Sarah Connor ballad, starts off sweet and whispery but in the end she power vocalizes it. She sounds great and does that awesome Power Grunt thing in her voice which i love! especially with her. One of the best songs on the album. "This Game Is To Play Dont You That Its Time And You See That My Hearts Gotta Know When Your Gonna Be Mine" [I love when she grunts the know part] 5. One Nite Stand (Of Wolves And Sheep)-10/10, Laughable in parts but awesome the chorus is awesome she says it so fast im surprised taht i could understand her. About a guy that she wanted as a friend that turned into a One Nite Stand. Hilarious last line "Ladies if you must have it make sure he wears a profilatic" "Don't Feel Sad, Bad, Mad Cuz' I Too been through the rain and i can feel your pain, Momma said there'd be days like these and im telling you ladies look out for the wolves that dress like sheep" 6. He's Unbelieveable-8/10, A good song. But not as good as some other songs on this cd. "Should I Dress In High heels should i go out in my blue jeans" 7. Music Is The Key-10/10, Reminds me a lot of One Sweet Day by Mariah and Boys II Men. Is a duet with her husbands band Natural 7. Very uplifting and great! "Whenever your falling down, Hopeless and pushed around, Find Your Own Melody, Trust me that Music Is The Key" 8. Love Is Color-Blind-9/10, Good song proving you dont have to be the same nationality to be in love. "It don't matter if your black, white or yellow, if yer brown or red, Lets get down to that love is colorblind" 9. I'm Gonna Find You-10/10, Another Sarah ballad. But a great song at that. Probably my favorite song on the CD. "I Know I'm Gonna Find you, The Day i Come You'll Open Up The Door" 10. In My House-6/10, To much dance pop "I'll be your sugar in the morning and that sweet stuff you need at night" 11. Turn Off The Lights-8/10, One of the sluttiest songs I've ever heard...I LOVE IT! A little to jazzy though "Turn off the lights and close the door this is the night we've been wating for" over all 2 thumbs up, This is a great CD.

Sarah Connor
After I did a little research I found out Sarah Connor brought out seven singles from this album in the UK. In the US she only brought out Bounce. 1. Bounce - This song is so cool. I first heard it on a television commercial and I said I have to buy that CD. Single in US and UK. (5/5) 2. French Kissing - This song has Blackstreet's No Diggidy instrumental which I think is hot. It has a very urban beat. I love it. Single in UK. (5/5) 3. Let's Get Back To Bed - Boy! - This song was a really big hit for Sarah Connor in the UK. TQ raps in this song. Very urban and I like. Single in Uk. (5/5) 4. Skin On Skin - This song is a very powerful ballad. It's amazing. Another favorite of mine. Single in UK. (4/5) 5. One Nite Stand (Of Wolves And Sheep) - This song is so cool. Wyclef Jean raps in it. This song is my very favorite on the album. Single in UK. (5/5) 6. He's Unbelievable - This song is unbelievable. The instrumental sounds like Tupac's California Love, but it isn't. Single in UK. (5/5) 7. Music Is The Key - This song is very powerful. It's a ballad with a duet from a boy band called Naturally 7. One of my favorite songs. Single in UK. (5/5) 8. Love Is Color-Blind - This song is cool. TQ raps and sings in it. It talks about mixed relationships and I love it cause I can totally relate. (5/5) 9. I'm Gonna Find You (Osla Suite) - This is a very cool down ballad. It's nothing I can relate to, but I give it 2 thumbs up. (4/5) 10. In My House - This song is a remake of the MAry Jane Girls song In My House. This is a great party song. (3/5) 11. Turn Off The Lights - This song souds something like what Fiona Apple would sing. Not one of my favorites, but it's OK. (3/5)

She isnt just another R&B-Pop chick !
Why is it so hard for artists from europe to get respect and acceptance in the USA ? Sarah Connor is so talented ! Ok, she is doing R&B-Pop like so many other ladies nowadays but there is a huge differenz - SHE CAN SING ! She doesnt need to show her boobies to promote her songs and her voice is much better than janets and J.LOs together !! Yes, she used some samples in her songs but whats wrong about it ?? Other people are doing it all the time, especially in the USA. Unfortunately the record company put all these songs together on one album and thats why some people are complaining. I have all her albums and i know her songs are not just cheap copies of other former hits !! Everybody who wanna know how talented she is should WATCH OUT FOR HER LIVE DVD ! Pop meets Classic ! This dvd is amazing ! Her first US-album contains songs from her 3 albums which were really successful in europe ! This cd is good but some great songs are missing : From sarah with love ( her biggest hit in europe ) and Just one last dance ( her last number one in germany ) I can not understand why epic was so stupid and didnt put these songs on the record !? Strange... Bounce, One night stand, french kissing, skin on skin, music is the key, unbelievable are my favorite songs on this album. If she spends enough time in USA to promote her music, she will make it there. Sarah, if the americans dont want you- come back to germany !!! :-) We know how good you are !!

Amazing
While living in Germany I stubbled onto Sarah Connor. I can honestly say that she is the only artist that I have ALL of her CD's including a DVD that she released. Some might not like her but I for one love everything she puts out. I commend her for her talent & drive in life. Releasing a CD after having her baby is completely astounding, way to go girl I know how hard raising a baby is. She sings with the passion in her soul, about the trials & tribulations of her experiences in life. Highly recommend this CD as well as the others she has out.

Half Soul-Half Filler
It should be obvious to American buyers by now that any r&b/pop cd with a slew of guest appearances cannot be that good, which is unfortunate, because Sarah Connor is a talented young woman. This is obvious when looking at the success she has had overseas. What happens to Sarah Connor is what happens to many r&b sex kittens- THE CURSE OF THE FILLER MATERIAL! Okay, so that's a little drastic, but the filler songs on this album cannot and do not co-exist with the six unique and brilliant songs on the album. That may be a matter of personal opinion, but I am an avid r&b listener and know filler material when I hear it. Case in point: 'Music is the Key' and 'Love is Color Blind.' Both tracks could have and should have been bold social statements about race relations and arts being taken out of educational and recreational settings. What results is the stigma that many such ballads face- the cheese factor. Sarah drones on and on and on about what mama said and how music wipes the tears the away: the same old junk that Mariah, Janet, and Whitney have done, and done much better. Of course, the album does have its bright spots. 'Skin on Skin' is a gorgeous track whose melodic and sensual melody meshes very well with Miss Connor's sultry vocals. 'Bounce', although a nice dance tune, does sound dated, stated for the simple fact that it sounds like a discarded Destiny's Child tune. Of course the song 'French Kissing' is the obligatory r&b make-out tune, but for Sarah it works quite well. Much of the material is contrived and somewhat bland, luckily Sarah Connor's wide vocal range keeps the album afloat and saves it from being placed in my cd rack to permanently collect dust. I may not be a psychic, but if Sarah Connor wants huge stateside success, she has to ditch the truckload of songwriters that plague the album, ban TQ from appearing on any future tracks( trust me-I don't know who this guy is, but he has got to go) and find her own green eyed soul. Unfortunately it isn't here. What happened here was this: previous tracks from Connor's other albums were thrown on here (which accounts for some of the dated material), guest appearances went on overload, and a production team was assembled to transform a talented woman into a popstar. A popstar Sarah Connor isn't. She has the potential to become something the American Industry lacks-actual vocal talent. But believe me, if she continues to have her PRODUCERS make music like this, she will be found in the nearest bargain bin.

A bit disappointing....
I first heard this new artist on the Music Choice channels on digital cable....and so I was pretty excited to learn she had album coming out. But, when I bought it and played the CD, I was a bit disappointed. Unlike the opening number, "Bounce", the rest of the CD is nothing more than collaborations with unknown rappers. (Guess they are German/European??!?) Sarah could have done sooo much better! She has a wonderful voice...and if she had done a purely techno/rave/eurodance record....this thing would be all over the place. Instead, she elects to go the typical R&B route....which I think is beginning to wane a bit here in the US. At least, I am getting tired of it. Wyclef Jean does try to lend a hand...and that is all well and good...but Sarah just has so much more to offer. If she makes it enough in the US to release a second album, I surely hope that a great dance producer will work with her....she could really give Kylie and Kristine a run for their money!

Come with me if you want to live.
In the not too distant future, the Machines, rulers of the Earth sent back a Terminator to 1984 destroy her. The human resistance was allowed to send one of their own to protect her. Sarah Connor was targeted for one reason: Her unborn son, John Connor. He would grow up to become the leader of the human resistance against the machines and lead the human race to salvation. The machines failed this mission. Then in 1991, the machines tried again, this time sending a much more sophisticated killing machine known as the T-1000. The human resistance sent a similar Terminator model as the one sent to kill Sarah before, only they reprogrammed him to protect John Connor as a young child. The machines failed, and together, Sarah, John and Terminator helped stop (or postpone) judgment day. But before Sarah died of lung cancer, she found time to record this album. Personally, I feel this album is unneccessary. How greedy and self-serving is it to release a major label album when you are supposed to be laying low? Good thing she wasn't caught, that way John Connor could keep living in secrecy and fight the Rise Of The Machines.

Sarah Connor- Sarah Connor (2004)
"Sarah Connor" ist das US- Debüt von der deutschen Sängerin Sarah Connor und beinhaltet ihre Hits wie "Let's get back to Bed-Boy" feat. TQ oder "Music is the Key" feat. Naturally 7. Bounce 10/10 2. French Kissing 10/10 3. Let's get back to Bed-Boy feat TQ 10/10 4. Skin on Skin 10/10 5. One Nite Stand ( Of Wolves and Sheep) feat. Wyclef Jean 10/10 6. He's unbelievable 10/10 7. Music is the Key feat. Naturally 7 8.5/10 8. Love is color- blind feat. TQ 8.5/10 9. I'm gonna find you (Osla Suite) 10/10 10. In my House 6/10 11.

How comes 'from Sarah with love' is missing?
US import. Her debut album, a bit 'americanised'. The single that 'made' her is missing - what a tragedy!!! it's on other releases, though
