I would buy again if they last, time will tell...
What some of you may not realize is that the 3 bolts on the top are NOT equally spaced. The side with the arrow pointing away is the side that should be pointing towards the motor. If you look closely the top is cut so that you tell which side is supposed to be pointing in towards the motor. Another thing to make the installation go smoothly and easily is to loosen the sway bar link as much as possible and put some wd40 on it and let it soak in for about 10 minutes. I used pb blaster on one side and wd40 on the other side. The wd40 worked better in my case this time.So another thing is when I unboxed my first one everything was fine and it went in no problem. The 2nd one however due to poor packaging I'm guessing the electrical clip had been pulled right off the wires and was bouncing around in the box along with a couple of the nuts. So instead of going through the hassle of trying to get the wires back into the connector I just cut one of my old ones off the struts I was replacing and spliced it into the bare wires. If you need to do this make sure you cut as much off as possible. It helps having a few extra inches of wire when plugging it back in. GM uses white and black wires but on these new ones both wires are black. So I just hooked it up figuring I had a 50/50 shot at getting it right the first time.So I hope this essay will help somebody otherwise I just wasted 15 minutes of my life... LolI put these on my 2015 Tahoe LTZ 4x4 with factory 22 inch wheels.Ps... The bolts on top of the factory struts is 18mm but the these struts use 15mm bolts. I'm definitely not happy about that either but for $800 bucks for 2 struts I guess I'll live with it for now. I prefer the 18mm though because every damn road in Michigan is filled with potholes...I don't think the ride is as good as when it was new but its definitely better than what it was. So would I buy these again? I don't know yet it depends on how long they last. I got 114,000 miles out of the factory ones so we will see.P. S. I'm still trying to figure out what some people are calling a smooth ride. The magneride struts were NEVER designed for a smooth ride. If you do your research then you would know that these are a performance strut. These magnetic struts were first designed by and used by Ferrari. A regular Tahoe without magneride is a smoother riding experience. But the ones with magneride are much better at emergency maneuvers. Which is why these with the magneride will leave the same vehicle in the dust on a curves. Do your research people. I will say that now that my struts have been on exactly a week now that the ride has gotten much better. I'm thinking that maybe the springs were just a little too stiff at first but after having some weight on them for a week now they have loosened up. So my Tahoe is definitely back to flying through the corners again. Not as quick as my TA or my Firebird but this is a much bigger and heavier vehicle than my sports cars. So with that being said if these hold up now then I'll buy them again, if not I'll go back to the factory ones.

Dropped Ride Height of 2016 Escalade ESV SUBSTANTIALLY
Used these to replace the OEM Struts/Shocks on my 2016 Cadillac ESV. Ride is smooth but now the ride height has dropped significantly. Front bumper drags the ground on even 4" dips and bumps. The tire is even about to rub in the wheel well. This is totally unacceptable after the cost of the struts and also the cost to have them installed. Seller please contact me to make this right.

Lowered the vehicle
Purchased front assembly to replace factory shock that locked up on a 2018 GMC Denali. Selected these because of all the positive reviews and the price. Installation was pretty straightforward other than an issue getting the pins into the weatherpack connector. After everything was on I drove it around the block thinking everything was good. Got it back in the garage on a flat surface and realized that the front was now sitting 2” lower than before installing these. Will not be able to send these back because I had to solder the original weatherpack connectors onto these. Now I will have to remove these again to install the factory springs to get the ride height back.

Worth every penny.
Way cheaper than just the strut from the dealer. Installed about a month ago and they are holding up very well. Brought the front of our Tahoe up a 1/2 inch.

Dropped ride height 3 inches.
Bought the pair of front complete assembly struts. Installed on 2016 Yukon XL Denali. Install went fine but when I let it down off the jacks the front ride height was way too low. Air dam is only 4 inches off the pavement. Totally unacceptable. Dropped by about 3 inches. Coil springs are too weak. Am returning for refund.

No luck with these; too short
Once installed, and after the old ones were disposed of, realized these dropped the front end height from stock. No good

Excellent value - would definitely recommend!!
Wife feels like she's got a new Tahoe after this replacement. It took a little coaxing to get these to seat well on the lower control arm, likely due to the new springs. Otherwise, everything was a direct match to the OEM (AC Delco) struts.Luft Meister did a great job with this!!!

Don’t waste your time buy OEM
Installed these and next day got a service message for my suspension system. Had a mechanic inspect it and said the shocks are no good. Just pay a little more and buy OEM.
