My observations
After reading a lot of reviews on this, I decided to purchase.I have been taking this in my water Since Aug. 20.There is very little taste to it. I have never mixed it with anything other than water, and I have had no problem with drinking it. INITIALLY, there was a very slight odor when the glass is near the nose, but I have become used to it and it does not bother me. If you need something (collagen, in this case,) you just have to do what you have to do without complaining. My hair, which is salt and pepper (grayING) has been turning darker. Pretty noticeable and I am very happy about it since I stopped coloring my hair and it was pretty gray.My eyebrows are growing in thicker and darker. My eyelashes are getting longer. My skin looks amazing. Looks like when I was younger! My nails are super strong and they grow pretty fast. The reason I bought it, though, was because I was suffering from an ulcer and eating would make me double over in pain. After cutting out all processed food, coffee and caffeine, drinking this in the water and eating only protein from meat and raw fruits and lightly cooked veg. (with no spices and no butter, etc.) I can say that my stomach feels better and I do not feel so swollen. I believe it has healed the gut to the extent that I do not suffer leaky gut anymore. THAT is strictly my opinion, I am not a doctor, nor am I saying this product did that. I am saying I have noticed it in combination with a drastic diet change. I have lost 10 pounds since Aug. 20 without exercise.I will continue to use it. Who does not benefit from daily intake of amino acids that are in this as well?I did the bones, 24 plus hours of simmering, etc. to make my own broth, but I do not have that kind of time, so this was my solution. I am very happy I tried it.

Have fun with it, let the health benefits be an afterthought.
I'm not sure how long ago I bought this but I do know I didn't really know what to do with it once I got it. I vaguely remember using it a few times and apparently doing it wrong because the family made faces about having to eat stuff with this in it. I stuck it on the shelf and forgot about it till recently when I decided I wanted to make home made organic jello for my nephew.I did some research, learned how to use this and then went crazy making all kinds of organic jello and pudding. I then started adding it to my chili, soups, stews, gravies and sauces w/o telling the rest of the family I added it in. (I don't measure it but I know I don't add much, enough to thicken things up a bit and add a protein boost)That was 5 months ago and at first I didn't notice any specific health benefits that I could attribute to this (I wasn't really looking either), then about 10 days ago I noticed new hair growth along my hair line that was about an inch long. (I never even noticed my hair was thinning. lol). A few wks prior to that I noticed my nails were growing like crazy and were unusually strong. (My guess is this stuff is also the reason my husband has had to go from getting a haircut once a month to getting one twice a month). The only change was sporadically adding in the gelatin/collagen so I figured I would finally write a review. What worked for me: Started by having fun with it instead of thinking of it has a health supplement. Then I started to think of it as a kitchen staple like flour, arrow root, corn starch or any other thickening agent. I now almost absent mindedly put it in nearly everything I cook.

Staple in my home
My son and I suffer from a rare genetic bone disease where we have an underproduction of collagen, so I'm hoping this may be able to help in some way. I try to use it as much as I can. The good thing is that it has no taste or smell and the one is water soluble so I can use it to make homemade jello/gummies. I also put it in oatmeal in the mornings. It's a great way to slip it in without my son notice, although sometimes it's hard to get the clumps out unless you wait a little while and it can clump in the bottom. It's great in blender smoothies as the blending action mixes it up well. When I'm in a hurry, I'll put it in a glass of milk along with some organic chocolate syrup and blend it up using a battery-operated milk frother and it makes a nice foam on top. My kids love it! So far my son has't had any more fractures so I'm hoping it's helping. It's been great for skin and nails as well and I like that this collagen comes from grass fed cows

Not tasteless
Sad that even thigh so many people say they can’t taste it, I totally can in whatever I mix it into.

Great product except for aftertaste
I've only just begun supplementing these into my diet, but am starting to see effects quickly (yay!) my hair is looking better and my nails seem to be hardening as well (always been week points for me). I primarily use the green can in oj as it masks the odor best. The green can doesn't have a flavor that I can taste, but the odor is definitely strong enough that you can taste it after its down the hatch, that's really the only negative. Well it also doesn't dissolve as well as I'd hoped but I think that's primarily because I'm using too little liquid. I made wine gummies with the red can and they jelled very well and turned out lovely. I was worried they might stick to each other but they were great! No sticky fingers and held together beautifully. Very happy with this purchase, though will consider vital proteins next time due to the funky aftertaste this one has.
