RCA RFR786-BLUE 2 Door Apartment Size Refrigerator with Freezer, 7.5 cu. ft, Retro Blue

This is the cutest little fridge. Unfortunately, UPS left it outside my door - UPSIDE down. It was dented in several places and crushed in the back right corner, but the worst damage was on the part that sets up against the wall, so I figured, so what? One of the glass shelves was broken as were a couple of the clear plastic shelves that go in the door, but still, I tried to be positive since technically, I didn't really need the side shelves as I need this store big gallon size jars for my business and likely would have taken out the glass shelf that broke anyway.But, having been upside down, I was worried about the freon or whatever was inside going wonky - not sure if that's still the case with appliances, but when I was a kid my dad said you always had to let appliances sit upright for 24 hours before plugging them in if they tilted or fell down - so I left it. Plugged it in the next day, the light came on inside the fridge - but nothing else. No little fridge hum from the compressor, no cooling, nothing. And this is such a cute little fridge.Long story short, Customer Service is sending a replacement and arranging for pickup of the broken one. Hopefully, that will work because I really want this fridge.EDIT: Wow - less than a week, 6 days in fact - from the time I talked to Customer Service, I have a replacement fridge that arrived in pristine condition, not a dent or scratch or gouge in sight. And MOST importantly, it's humming along like a champ, and the temp inside is and nice and cold. So pleased with the customer service and the replacement fridge - thank you! Changing review from 3 to 5 stars.

Quite a remarkable small refrigerator, very pleased.The refrigerator arrived undamaged Hurrah. I read other reviews that had commented on shipping damage however thought I'd give it a go and to my delight not so much as a small dent or scratch.The interior of the refrigerator and freezer compartments are surprisingly large.I choose the black and it blends in beautifully in my small country kitchen.The size is sensible for a single person or perhaps two; reminds me of the smaller refrigerators you'd see in Portugal.I am not a soda pop drinker so the interior is stocked with milk, meats, condiments, juice, and vegetables.The back wall of the refrigerator does run cold and developes ice droplets, but they melt and return of their own accord, doesn't trouble me.I keep my cold setting at 4 as I'd rather the temperature be colder than less so, so that may have something to do with the frozen droplets on the rear interior wall. Very quiet running too.I've not noted a large increase in my electric bill, if the disclosure on the specs is accurate than it is truly very efficient.I've waited a few months to write this review; definitely an excellent purchase. Smaller more main stream refrigerators look clunky where as this one is stylish. The price point was excellent too. I compared the reviews on the higher end small refrigerators and they all had significant short comings.To sum it up- if your looking for a small refrigerator that runs well, holds a surprisingly large amount, has a stylish look, and at the time of my purchase an excellent price point - do consider this one. I am certainly glad I gave it a go. All I had hoped for and more.

I just got this 2 days ago and let it set for at least 36 hours since I didn't know if it was laid on it's side or even upside down during shipping.When I tried to lift the box off of it after cutting the 4 straps, I couldn't because everything was taped together: the plastic over the fridge was taped to the fridge, the inside packaging was taped to the plastic, an so on. It was so bad that when I pulled the tape off of the fridge, it tore the shrink wrapped plastic coating on the fridge so I had to peel all of it off that took 30 minutes since it was put on before all the hardware. Now it's not shiny and the corners on top are sharp so I'll have to file those down.Next, the ABOUT section says freezer door bin. There is NO FREEZER DOOR BIN! This is false advertising!Next, it says the shelves are spill proof. Again: FALSE ADVERTISING! The glass shelves have no raised edges so if something spills, it's going to leak down the sides, back, and front.The next false advertising is reversable doors. The doors might be reversable but the handles are NOT REVERSABLE so you won't be able to open the door and everyone will think it won't open since the handles are on the wrong side.Last false advertising: it says crisper bins. There is only 1 crisper bin! And, it's right in front of the compressor so it's only 1/2 the depth of the shelves so you can't get anything big in it or a lot of stuff in it.If they didn't lie about these 4 things and learned to pack it right without taping everything together, it would be worth the money to have but since I just plugged it in and don't know how long it will last and well it works, I won't tell anyone else to buy it because of the 4 false advertisements in the ABOUT section!!

Love the frig! It looks awesome. Perfect size for my use. Love love love the color. My only complaint is that it was ever so slightly damaged. The outside box was all dented up. In fact, it was so dented, that I hesitated opening it. Once we got it out of the box, there was one small ding on the front. It’s not that noticeable, so I decided to keep it. Wish I could find a microwave that same color.

This refrigerator is retro adorable! It's truly a mid size refrigerator which was insanely hard to find! Its light weight so when the mail guys deliver it to your door and walk away (because they don't bring it in) ...you can actually drag it inside really easily.( I'm just an average mid 40s lady...and I had no issue carrying it in and getting it set up.) The plug is neatly tucked in the back...took me a few minutes to figure that out. LolAnyway, it holds as much as my mom needs in her little attached apartment. It would hold enough for three people's food...in my opinion. No temp control in the freezer.....that would be the only down side but it actually doesn't bother me.

The fridge quite cooling after a couple weeks and the manufacturer won't honour the warranty.
