Great Radio!!
This is a great radio for the price. It was very easy to install. I purchased a separate harness and wired it to the one provided with this radio. That allowed me to leave the stock radio harness intact. I used the original mounting brackets and was able to hide the microphone provided with this unit. I used this to replace the stock radio in my daughters car. Primary reason was to give her Bluetooth connection for her phone while driving. The range of color with the LEDs is pretty cool. More settings than I will ever need to use, but direct connection with iPhone, Pandora and Spotify make the car safer for my daughter. No fumbling with the phone to answer a call, or adjust her music.

Great radio in my 2008 Silverado crew cab
Had previously installed a sony in my 2008 silverado crew cab that I liked as it had BT phone but the sound quality was lacking. Replaced it with this pioneer and WOW!, what an improvement. Sound is great with factory speakers, menus are fairly intuitive, was able to set up most items without having to refer to the manual. Still need to fine tune things like custom color but happy with it regardless. Radio tunes great, USB sounds great, and at $105 shipped what more could you ask for. I read in reviews that people are having trouble with viewing display during the daytime but I dont have any trouble seeing the display in my 2008 silverado.

Great price if you mainly need a speakerphone for older cars; basic interface; no mute button; some other key flaws
There are several things that I like about this product, but it does have some key limitations.Good: The sound quality is excellent with the right speakers attached. It will take some time to get the sound settings correct, but it does have great sound capabilities. Bluetooth connects automatically to my phone whenever I turn on the car, which I like. The unit plays music from my phone easily, and it's relatively easy to make and receive phone calls. There is a USB port on the front of this unit, which is a big plus for older cars. The satellite radio channels can be changed very quickly, which is also nice. I was able to find the stereo connection kit at a local big-box store, and setup was relatively easy with the right cables.Bad: There are a few key flaws in this product. First, there is no mute button on the unit itself; it is a big hassle when I need to open my window and the car radio is on. Also, Siri sometimes thinks that I'm done speaking when I'm not, and so sometimes I have to try several times before successfully placing a call. (I'm not sure if this is Apple's fault or the radio's fault.) The interface itself is very basic--it's probably 20-year-old technology in the screen. The display brightness does not automatically adjust to ambient lighting, so in the daytime it can be too dim and at night too bright. It's also difficult to switch between different types of sound (for instance, switching from a music channel to a news channel and then changing the sound type to match what you're listening to). Also, the keys are mostly flat on the front of the unit, so it's hard to change channels without looking at the unit. The speakerphone works well; I mounted the speaker behind my steering wheel on the steering column, and I have had excellent results with people being able to hear me.All in all, this is a good unit for someone that doesn't want to spend a lot of money on a car stereo, especially with an older car. However, it is not good if you want to interact with your phone using the unit (other than to place calls using Siri). If you need to do that, you should probably buy a touch screen unit with CarPlay. I don't need CarPlay, and I mainly wanted this unit to place calls using Siri, and it seems to work well for that.Tip: Rather than trying to guess which cables to buy, I would recommend checking with your local big-box store. They can probably tell you exactly what cables you need. Once you have the right cables, it's pretty simple to install this radio. I spent hours looking for the right cables online and felt very frustrated. If you can go and speak with someone in person regarding the cables you need, you may save yourself a lot of time.

Nice "little" unit
This tuner does everything I wanted. Nice "little" unit, and under 100 bucks makes it even better.Installation was a challenge. I purchased the wrong mounting kit first. It should have beenhttps://www.amazon.com/Metra-95-5818-1997-2003-Lincoln-Vehicles/dp/B0026CJ8F8/ref=pd_lutyp_simh_2_1?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B0026CJ8F8&pd_rd_r=W6KFS8XBKW4JCNRTRED6&pd_rd_w=N9qyy&pd_rd_wg=2Weda&psc=1&refRID=W6KFS8XBKW4JCNRTRED6There was some heavy modifications needed. It's best to follow the instructions that came with the correct mounting kit. I used an 4.5 inch angle grinder. But even then, to make it fit in the hole, I had to cut off about 3/8 of inch of the top face. Then you have to cut the plastic in the back and cut off the little plastic above the climate controls. Yup it was messy. After you get it mounted, you will see two face bezels, one that is tight and one that is kinda loose. I chose the latter. There are two mounting arms to attach the bezel, but it pushed out the plastic face shroud. So I cut it off.All in all, it about 2 hours to do all the curring and fitting and running of the mic.One other thing; the wiring harness worked out perfectly. Just match all the colors and you're golden (there are three wires that were not used)

10/10 would recommend
For reference, I have a Google Pixel 2, and my main source of music is Spotify. This receiver is wonderful. It was not altogether too difficult to install in my 2003 Impala, and now that it's in, I love it. Everything sounds great, the buttons are very user-friendly, and pairing it to my phone was a breeze.I searched long and hard for a speaker that worked well with an Android phone, Spotify, and Bluetooth.Overall, I love it. It's everything I wanted in a stereo receiver.

Excelente producto
