Can you damage the batteries by overcharging or leaving it a cold environment? I've charged it fully, The bars drop so quickly and it just shuts off.

I’ve never had an issues with over charging. Or with temperatures drops or increases. I think you have one with a faulty battery. I use mine for night photos. And they last about 4 to 5 hours.

I just got this lights and i like them but there is only white and red solid colors? i can't nllset it up to any other solid colors. help!!!!

You have to change the menu. Two separate selectors give you access to rotate through the RGB spectrum

I use the IVISII G2 as a background and product light at 25% power and would say it has a long battery life compared to other similar lights I use. It also uses a USB C type plug that is more robust than the older style USB and charges faster. This is the best small light I own.

Does this include an app to control colors?

No app :( However it is a really good and bright light.
