Great product. Great quality. Nothing to complain about.

I bought this lamp from the Canary Islands. It's weird that I can't buy it in AMAZON.ES, as this lamp is served only in mainland Spain. So, I ended up spending 15€ more, all in all it deserves the extra money.And now I checked it on AMAZON.CO.UK and the next message is showed: "This item does not ship to Spain - Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla". I suppose it's because I had an incident with the local courier company, extorsionating me asking for more money for "administrative costs". A pity that a company as AMAZON sink the knee in front of pirate couriers. I had a couple of IKEA architect lamp with a 11 w OSRAM S fluorescent lamp. They served well for many years, but reciently I struggled when assembling scale models (years take their toll).Looking for a new lamp I read a review about this one, (Thanks Adam D), he recommended this lamp for "handycrafts or computer use".So I decided to buy it and its perfect for me (in fact now I WANT TO BUY at least one MORE. BUT I CAN'T. not in AMAZON.ES nor in AMAZON.CO.UK). Incredible, isn't it?.The lamp came well packed, even have a bag for the adjustement tools.It's beautifully designed. Well constructed. Seems durable. And give you a lot of options with the different combinations of intensity and light temperature. Lights a large area uniformly. What a difference when I compare with the lamp from IKEA!.I read concerns about cleaning the grooves, but can be solved with a cotton swab.It worth that money!. Would definitely recommend!.

I need to absolutely control every aspect of the lighting in my office: it was designed specifically for me due to my history of migraines and lighting is pretty important. With the phase out of incandescent, many of the lights that assert to be "natural" are fluorescent which is a no-go for someone with migraines. As an engineer, I have 10 computers in front of me, with a computer rack loaded with servers and network equipment in the adjacent room: essentially, 30 to 50 systems going non stop that I switch between, depending on my project. Sometimes, I'm working 48 hours in a single stretch. Lighting is critical.Finding this light was important to me because it was an architect style light that could clear my giant LED displays and project light without glare. It allows me to easily tune the light temperature, so the light can be made cooler or warmer at the touch of a button. By gliding my finger across the dimmer strip, I can adjust the light intensity/brightness.Putting this together on my U-shaped desk was a snap. The clamp is solid, and I mean solid. This is not flimsy and includes three tools to ensure a proper fit. It fits snugly into the base, and is easily adjustable.While I like the lamp very much, I would like a remote control capability instead of having to reach up to the top of the lamp to adjust the intensity. Perhaps an upgraded version that can integrate with z-Wave protocol devices in a future version? Then, I could have this automatically turn on when I enter my office, set to the preferred light temperature and intensity throughout the day as well as record what I've changed so I can better tune my needs.Still, this is a very reliable and configurable lamp that was exactly what I needed.

The light itself is works very well, I love the adjustable colour temperature, diffuse light and energy efficient LED bulbs. The clamp is also versatile, working on any thickness of desk. Where the product is let down somewhat is in the design/build quality of the arm mechanism. It not very robust and feels flimsy when adjusted. The cast metal parts are very thin in places and after just a couple of days use, part of the bottom part of the arm mechanism broke. The seller was very helpful in solving the problem with the stand and promptly sent a replacement stand, and so far no problems with it. Good customer service.
