Water was collecting under the veggies trays. Removed all good and shelving. Found 1” ice covering bottom of top refrig. Took off back cover(2screws) and found drain collection tray insert is only about 1” long and doesn’t go deep enough into drain tube. Replaced with one of these, cleaned inside stains with Clorox spray and they came off easily. Added aluminum foil to line drain tray. Solved the problem

I had water and ice build up under my crisper trays. I bought this in conjunction with tools for cleaning out the ice and clogs. Since installing this piece I haven't had the ice and water build up. It's only been a couple of days but it's a noticable difference. Thanks for having a bigger clip size to buy. It was very easy to install. Well worth the money I spent for the item

My fridge was leaking. I installed this myself and now it’s working great! Way bigger than the factory piece.

Naturally, the failure to keep my drain from freezing cannot be blamed on the success or failure of this attachment. There could be other problems that result in icing that cannot be mitigated by this device.
