It's stubby. This little guy barely pokes his head above the line of the hood.Vehicle: Tundra.Area used: Colorado (I-25 corridor)Terrain: Mountains to the left of me, hills to the right of meThe product quality is great. No blemishes in the machining or finish and was shipped well protected (protective sleeve over the threads).This antenna works no better or worse than the few other stubby antennas I've had experience with (factory installed stubbies on a variety of cars).In the area I live and drive I can be in the shadow of a mountain or hill simply by turning a corner. By no real fault of the function of the antenna I lose reception occasionally. Possibly would have reception a little longer with a standard antenna but that defeats the purpose of having a stubby. My daily work drive is 45 minutes one way. Out of this time I have about 10 minutes of intermittent or absolute loss of reception and this is no problem for me.If you live in an area that terrain creates areas of shadow and you demand absolute reception this antenna may not be the best option for you.

Fits perfectly on tacoma 2014 , yes you will loose some radio signal but small antenna and great signal doesnt fit together .. i would suggest to remove the logo or stamp it on both side because i tried multiple time to have it place properly and it always end up not straight and .. yeah i can’t stand it lol ( going back outside i’ll try one last time)

Works as described....haven't noticed any loss of radio signal as of yet. Looks good. The only downfall for me is that the logo isn't centered... any easy fix.

I bought it just for looks since my old one was very rusted. My radio does not work so I don’t know about reception.
