Phenomenal game - no glitches, bugs, hackers, etc.
This is an amazing game. The engine they used to build this game is incredible. I have a decent connection and I never lag. You don't get anything for free aside from the terminal map and so forth, as listed on the cover. The one additional thing hey did was add new weapons, titles, emblems, etc. You don't get these things for free. So, either you open supply drops and receive the items (if you're lucky), or you spend $$$$ to get them.

Amazing Game Feels Old
The reason you buy the Legacy edition is because of the inclusion of Modern Warfare Remastered obviously. Infinite Warfare's campaign so far is basically a playable Michael Bay movie, big explosions and set pieces. It does give you a wonderful feeling of scale though, that you are but a small soldier in a huge world when these moments play out. The multiplayer I can't really comment on, the guns all do essentially the same thing, there isn't a clear gun to pick over others it really all the depends on your play-style. I haven't played IW MP a lot because I'm one of the many that is tired of the futuristic Call of Duty setting, the jump packs and wall running just aren't my thing and in my opinion makes for a very frantic game. Now on to the reason I give this game 5 stars. Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered is everything you remember is was and more but with time comes those rose-tinted glasses that gloss over the negatives of the game. So first, if you have never played Modern Warfare because you are too young or CoD wasn't your thing at the time, it is a wonderful game that shows the roots of where CoD became the juggernaut of a franchise it is today. This game was the turning point for CoD. If you're like me though and you've played CoD for years and wanted to go back I have some reminders for you that you've probably forgotten.Okay so to start off reminder martyrdom? It's a perk where upon death your drop a live grenade. Now this is fine if you're a long range person but if you ever get the urge to get closer or "run and gun" this perk will frustrate you till no end. On the topic of grenades, you probably don't remember how overpowered they are, they can be far enough away that the grenade icon barely shows up and you will die. Another thing with grenades you've probably forgotten is that the map design though amazing as it is, is very small and lends itself easily to other players having the Frags x3 perk on and just chucking grenades over buildings or across maps, this is especially frustrating in Search and Destroy (a 1 life per round game mode).MWR really shows its age in a lot of other ways also, there is a limited selections of weapons, the majority of players will either play with M16A (assault rifle), MP5 (sub-machine gun), or M40A (sniper). Those three are by far the most common weapons used and there are limited number of perks again, there is no pick-10 system either so you can't customize much.Despite all this however there are a lot of pros, the maps design though small is so phenomenal, this was Infinity Ward at its peak. You don't generally feel cheated out of anything like kills because the balancing is superb and everything has an effective counter.Raven Software and the other studios tasked with this remastered did alter it, this isn't the same exact game as in 2007. They didn't change the core mechanics, but they did add in calling cards and emblems, you can also get skins for you weapons (these aren't just camos from the original game but actual skins that change the appearance). The underlying theme to keep in mind with the additions is, micro-transactions.To Long Didn't Read: This game is old and it shows but if you played the original it will make you feel young again. Now should you buy this game? If you have the extra cash sure, but it isn't worth $70-80 in my opinion. I got mine on a good deal for 50% off that brought the price down to around $40 or so, at that price it is worth it. If you are like so many others and waiting for MWR to release separately, I'd suggest you give up that hope. This again is just my opinion, but with the game bundled already together and them obviously willing to reduce the price to get sales, why would they sell it separate instead of just lowering the overall price? If Activision does the latter it will also artificially boost sales for Infinite Warfare because technically there is only one SKU and it's for Infinite Warfare. Another thing is, if they do release a standalone MWR, what do you think the price will be? $19.99, with Activision that's not happening, $29.99? Maybe... but again I'd doubt it because they know they can get more, so most likely it will go for $39.99 or above while also lowering the price on this edition. So I guess what I'm trying to say is, if the game were $40 for both, would you not buy it even if you don't want IW?
