Way beat my expectations
I was a little dubious about this drive when I got it. I’m used to buying nice Barracuda HDDs, and the idea of getting a cheap Amazon SSD and trusting my data to it seemed foolhardy. But I’ve had this one for over 3 years now, and it performs like a champ! While I do use a back up drive, just in case, I’ve never had trouble with this one. These are smal, lightweight, quiet, don’t heat up, and have the speed and capacity that they are labeled to have. On top of that, they’re usually a good deal on Amazon. I’d definitely buy one again.

Great for Ubiquiti cloud key
I purchased the Lexar 2TB NS100 SSD (LNS100-2TRBNA) to use with my Ubiquiti Cloud Key, and it’s been a perfect upgrade. Installation was quick and simple, and the drive was recognized immediately without any issues. The extra storage space is a huge benefit for logs, backups, and video footage, and performance has been smooth and reliable. For the price, you really can’t beat the value—plenty of storage in a compact, dependable package. If you’re looking for an affordable SSD with solid performance, this Lexar drive gets the job done.

You Can Fix The “No Show” Drive Problem!
I have 3 older DELL computers. I bought the LEXAR 480GB SSD NQ100, to use in an adapter as external storage. I had a problem, that a few other folks have had, but the LEXAR support staff helped me solve it. Here is the problem: SSD shows up in Device Manager, and is working properly. There is a message in Events, about driver not migrating properly because of ambiguous or partial match. Your driver is up to date. The SSD also appears where you eject USB devices. However, the SSD does not appear und My PC, in the list of all available drives. You cannot access the drive. SOLUTION: Get into your Disk Management screen (not Device Manager). Look for a drive that is not initialized, has no drive name, and close to the expected amount of GB on your SSD. (Example, my SSD is a 480GB, but Disk Management listed it as 447GM. It’s a computer math thing.) Right click on that drive, and initialize it. Then, is says unassigned, so click on it and assign type, and a drive letter! Now your drive works great! The LEXAR support agent and I were glad that it worked, but like the agent said, “we should not have had to do that to make it work.” I have a suspicion that the age of my computers may have contributed to the situation. Might just be that the SSD is just a bit too unfamiliar to my 10 year old DELL. Main thing is, it is working perfectly now! Also, if you have had a similar problem, you really can fix it! It is EASY…once you know WHAT the problem is.

Good SSD
I purchased 4 of the 2TB model of these back in January of 2024 to run in a ZFS pool for my home NAS and so far, only one has failed (it lasted 11 months). The drives are decently fast and I have had no issues with them other than that one drive. That one drive did not outright fail, though. The data is still accessible but the drive disconnects after about a minute of being connected. No idea why.

Buy it.
An absolute work horse of a drive that has been pummeled but just keeps going.

Decent value drive for low energy bulk storage
Bought for lower power/heat media bulk storage and it works great for that. Performance is pretty good, tested at 83% full for a fair real world test, good enough for all but the most high end games. Frankly I mostly use it for my music collection which would be a laugh but the way windows reads meta data is so slow it requires an ssd to not choke. An oddity is that it doesn't show a percentage for drive life in crystaldiskinfo, the controller doesn't report much detail, this is the cut cost part of the drive. Bought on sale when the price was more in line with the competition, hopefully the durability is good but no way to test that. Lexar firmware/software support, there is none as far as I can see, no dashboard software, and no firmware updates have ever been released for this drive, this may or may not be a good or bad thing, but its just a consideration vs the more expensive options. *Update, turns out you can find the health % in hwinfo64, and its set to decrease quickly, which is not to say it will fail as it is just a warranty thing, but still a bit iffy that its set that low, I have 670p's that go down much slower than that and those are QLC. That being said the chinese website pceva doing a durability test saw it go the distance, around 1200TB, but the warranty seems set at 100TB.

Lexar is a good brand name
The Lexar name has been around for at least a couple of decades, so it's a brand name that I personally trust. Got this to replace my 2 HDDs I previously set up as a RAID 1 (mirror). The TLC (Triple Layer Cell) NAND technology is an affordable option, and good enough for loading and holding game libraries. Just like any other drive, it's easy to install, plug in, and format for use!
