The bristles are firm enough but not harsh and scratchy. They do a good job of sweeping the countertop and sweeping the lint trap in the dryer without scratching the mesh. The bristles don’t seem as though they’ll come loose easily. Good value

Great for preschool classroom; plastic is cheap and can break easily. Brush is plastic like fibers and not the best for big messes but fine for large objects.

I use one of these for cleaning out my frog tank, another for cleaning out my lizards tank, and the third for kitchen counter crumbs and quick tasks. My only complaint is that the brush handle does not stay in place with the dustpan. They are not made to lock together. So when you hang them or put them away together somewhere they are kinda floating separate. Bristles are pretty easy to rinse and disinfect.
