Brilliant design and life saver

When we first got this I had to be honest in saying that I was very sceptical as I imagined lying flat would surely not be as good for the baby especially when they are so young. Obviously knowing that maxi cosy are such a well respected industry leader I do have faith that the seat in terms of the safety requirements meets all the criteria, but both my partner and I just didn't feel comfortable having the baby lying down for a prolonged period in a situation like that. You were able to use this with the family fix base that we already had and it was fitted with ease. It was also compatible with our maxi cosi pram.The thing I am struggling to get my head around is how limited the time the baby can use this as it is up to 6 months maximum dependent on size and weight so it really is a rather large outlay for it. It's a shame that I can't at least grow with your child so it could be on an angle as they get a little bigger and by removing some padding similar to how you do with other maxi cosy normal car seats I could maybe get them till age one or two and then the investment would be worth it.

Maxi-Cosi is a brand that I have become quite familiar with for its high quality and super safe items and designs. This carrycot was no different and met all of my expectations. See provided pictures for more detailsFirst of all, this item was delivered quickly and in good quality packaging in quite large box so I recommend you make sure you have space for that in your home.No assembly is required and it arrives how it should be used. What I also like about the products form this brand is that that can usually be connected with other products, for example this carrycot can be connected and used with their Maxi-Cosi FamilyFix2 car seat base and is also compatible with some of their pushchairs.I was really impressed with the quality and design. The fabric is super good quality and I like the overall design and colour profiles as well. It is very comfortable and will allow your baby a very nice sleep.It has a feature which allows your baby to lie flat instead of their head titling upwards like other brands. This is a really good feature because it ensures more comfort and is also safer.There are two straps which are elasticated and have a bright red button which is used to undo them, they are really safe though and there is no way them can be accidentally undone.Finally, there is a cover and zips which you can use to remove it all the way, and there is also fabric which covers the handle that can only be undone by zips as well.Overall the price may seem quite high at first glance but to be honest this is one of the best brands for baby products since it is super safe and comfortable and has all the good features an item like this needs. I highly recommend this item and it can also be used through different children which is great.I recommend this item if you have the required space in your car and it’s within your budget, I hope this helps Amazon customers while trying to find the right item for them

This has been perfect for my newborn and being Maxi Cosi, it’s a brand I’ve used for years and know and trust.This is a great idea and something I hadn’t tried before, it acts as a car seat and travel cot up to the weight of 9kg so only suitable while they’re fairly small. There’s not a way to adapt it to be suitable for older which is a shame.The straps feel secure and the handle locks, to move the handle you press both buttons in, there’s no way this can be done accidentally while carrying so it is very secure.The covers zip into place and provide a nice cosy feel for baby, they can be removed if necessary and are washable if needed.This is versatile that it fits on the Maxi-Cosi pram base and you can get the base to get this to lock into place in the car. I’d prefer if the car base was included but it is worth getting to save transferring baby to a separate car seat.A nice way for baby to travel comfortably, while laying down while they’re very small, I’d prefer as mentioned if it included the car base for the price as this is only useful while baby is very small. But a good quality travel cot nonetheless.

You do need to buy the base (isofix family fix 3 base) this carrycot is suitable for a variety of maxi cosi pr am bases I use the lila.While this may seem expensive you have to look at it's versatility, it can be easily trasnfered from the pram base to the car (base and isofix required, sold seperatly) without having to wake your baby.This carry cot allows your baby to stretch out while laying flat and can be used as your main pram until your baby is 6 months or 90kg whichever comes 1st.When consdiering this carrycot do look at the measurements,the carryoct is much larger than your standard car seat as it lies horiontally so do consider if you have other children in your car and car size.For me this carry cot is perfect as I often travel long disatnces so knowing my son is comfortable and laying flat is a great comfort, I also use this carrycot as a travel cot so I am gettign my money's worth.As epected maxi cosy have excelled their expected very high standards, thr materials used are very easy to wipe cleaan(essential when dealing with babies, the cover an dhood are both zippable and easy to wash,The carry cot is very sturdy, if your hild could talk they would tell you how comfy this carry cot it, for parents it;s ease of transference from pram to car is seemless and your not having to disturb your baby if theya re sleep just remove the carry cot from the base and attach into the car.Looks very stylish from the design, materiasl used, comfort for your baby to the colour this is worth the cost even thoough it is time lmted every parent wants to give their child the best start in life and this carrycot does just that.
