Worth every penny.
I'm going to start from the beginning, so this might ramble on a bit. Just warning you. When I was shopping for the chair, I initially narrowed it down to this chair and two others. The prices, including shipping for this chair (prime for the other two) were close enough to call them even considering the $100ish total. The options I was looking for were: Adjustable height - pretty standard for office/gaming chairs. Head/neck support - why I had narrowed it down to the three I had. Armrests that are relatively flat (not curved) and locked to the seat of the chair - This one is specific for me because I have my keyboard, mouse and drink on a 1' x 3' board I place on the armrests so I can use the computer while in a semi-reclined position (see picture, which is tilted forward because I'm not sitting in the chair, it would be level if I was). Lastly, I like the chair to rock between the semi-reclined position and an upright-typing-at-my-desk position. This last option is also fairly common but NOT standard. I'd like to assure any potential buyers, this chair does indeed rock, smoothly even. So, after a length of time reviewing usually reserved for people with mild OCD, I decided to go with this option. The selling factors were the lumbar and neck cushions and the extendable footrest. I was going on faith that my other requirements would be met, and they were. On that note; the lumbar support is awesome and the pillow is going to result in me falling asleep while gaming at 4 in the morning.Ordered on a Wednesday and was told it would arrive on the following Monday. The Saturday before the estimated arrival, my gaming is delayed because I have to assemble my new chair. Two days early and only three after the initial order, which was late in the day as well, so good job on the hustle. The package/box itself was a little beat up. This was mentioned a couple of times in the reviews, so just assume the box will arrive with a couple of holes or tears. One of the pieces that caused a hole had a little of the paint rubbed off, but it was so inconsequential I can't honestly remember which piece it was and it's not a visible piece so I'm not going to look for it. Sorry. Also, on the top of the backrest, just behind the seem, there are two small tears in the fabric, but I don't think the shipping/handling was responsible for these. The tears are not in a location that will ever feel stress and I had to point them out to my gf so they're not terribly obvious either. I'm going to get some black cloth tape and probably never think about it again. The assembly process is Ikea simple. All the tool (allen wrench with a phillip's head driver) and the hardware, including an extra screw and bolt of each type is provided. The process should take the average person 20-30 minutes. Took me an hour, but we don't need to get into that. The gas lifter 'looked' like it slipped into it's hole too far. It did not. It works fine and the height range is full/standardish and definitely meets my needs.IMPORTANT NOTE: One of the complaints I read said one owner kept pulling the foot rest out too far and would have to get off his chair to put it back in place. When I was unpacking everything, I noticed grooves at the end of the extension bars for the foot rest. I figured I could get a couple of snap washers (dammit clips for you military folk) and that would solve that potential problem. Didn't have to. At the bottom of the box I found a rubber grommet and put two and two together. Lifted up the box flaps and found a second grommet. They are NOT listed on the inventory in the instructions and I couldn't find any reference in the pictures, but they are super easy to slip into the grooves and you'd have to yank pretty hard to force them off when extending the foot rest. I have nothing else to add about the assembly process. Fairly straight forward. The rest of the process was me adjusting the chair to my specifics. I'm 6' and 180lbs. This chair can handle considerably more than that. If you've been a gamer your whole life and are a little 'fluffier', this chair has plenty of room, to the point where I think the armrests are a little far out for me, but I have my board, so it's not a huge issue. I would recommend locking the rocker if you plan to use the foot rest in any position other than the fully reclined. Speaking of fully reclined, now I need a good 60" Samsung mounted to my ceiling. ;-)

They see me reclining, They hating, tryna copy my chair
I have only had the chair for a few weeks but I already LOVE it. I fit in comfortably to the chair which at 6 feet doesn't happen too often. I was worried that the footrest would somewhat be in the way but having the option to slide in back underneath the chair works perfectly for when I'm playing at the edge of my seat. I have sat in it for 8 hours one sitting and was surprisingly still comfortable. My favorite feature is the lumbar support as I have horrible posture but it helps to maintain that natural curvature in the back after long hours which helps to not kill my back. I have the armrest on even though I don't use it. For now, as it doesn't bother me that much but I am thinking of removing them to be able to fit the chair under my desk which is an easy task. Lastly, the reclining does go all the way to 180 degrees but I have no use for it as my setup is right next to my bed also scared that I might lean way too back and tip over.Building the chair was a breeze. The instructions were only a couple pages and most of it was tightening bolts and screws. Does help to have a second person but can easily be done by one in 15-20 minutes. There are notes about poor craftsmanship but since I've had it for such a short period I wont go into detail but clean and crisp edges with nice fabric all around.

Great starter gaming chair
Chair meets my expectations so far. Well padded, will probably break in nicely. Assembly was simple enough. The armrests are fixed, though that's not really a concern. The concave shape fits my arms nicely, making them practical for HOTAS gaming. Reclining feature is pretty stiff but works as intended. Lumbar and headrest pillows seem in the way at first but break in nicely and now work very well for slight reclining. (I should note these are totally removeable.) I will say that I am 130lb and the seat just fits my rear. Not sure this chair will do for most people. The only hang up I have is that the legrest is a little short for my legs and not quite right for resting your feet on, either. The way it folds up fills me with glee but I haven't found it very practical yet. It also came with a small tear in the seat fabric; probably related to the way all the parts are shipped just kind of tossed in the box. Also took a month to arrive. So there's that.

So comfortable! Still 6/5 Stars after 1 year!
Use this every day, absolutely love it!I thought I would use the recline function more, but really don't. I have, but its kind of a gimmick. What isn't a gimmick is the comfort. THIS CHAIR IS SO COMFORTABLE! It reminds me of my car seats. I drive a Mini Cooper S, so it has sporty seats, and this is very similar to them. For scale: I am just under 6' (182cm), and about 210 lbs (96kg), so a little above average in both metrics. There are a few fit and finish issues, like the arm rests that wiggle, and the elastic webbing that holds the lumbar pillow is frayed, but for the money, I have no real complaints. The faux leather is easy to clean, too, which is a plus, because I got the black and white model, and lets just say that tequila sunrises may make some marks if they are consumed in a spirited way.I've had this chair for just over a year now, and there are no rips or cuts in the pleather that I have been seeing in some of the other reviews. If I could give 6 stars I would, and I will: 6/5, highly recommended!
