This is my second belt like this (I left the first one at the airport). These belts are awesome. They do exactly what they are supposed to do and look pretty cool too.

I have been lifting for years and have avoided using a lifting belt until recently. I had it in my head that I needed to be able to lift all natural. After enough YouTube videos talking about the benefits if properly utilized I succumbed and went a searching. I found this belt at a quarter of the price of the big names out there and have enjoyed it. It just gives you a firm hug to brace against while you try and pick up the heaviest thing you can find. The latch is very nice to release the hug, while you let the blood circulate back to your head after said lift. I will say that I should have gotten a size smaller than I did. I'm a 30 inch waist and I'm on the smallest notch and I could go one notch smaller.

The belt is super stiff and does the job. The only issue is adjusting the belt to fit. It took a few tries to get it at the right size and was a little tedious with the screws. Taking the belt off is torture, we had to use a screwdriver to open the belt. My son is still trying it out to see if in time the belt loosens up a bit so he can take it off without the assistance of a screw driver.

I had purchased a lever belt from another manufacturer late last year for about three times the cost. Unfortunately I dropped that one and broke the lever. I purchased this one to replace the lever - and it is essentially the exact same belt as the more expensive version. Pick this up for the value, as it performs the same as more expensive competitors.

Bought for my daughter. She’s a power lifter in the 120 weight class in high school.

The hooks broke in 3 uses. At the broken piece the metal looks nothing like steel or iron but some amalgamation of aluminum and other metals maybe for cost?? I’m in commercial construction and this metal composition is weird, with clusters of sparkles like it’s a handmade impure metal…

Bought in March, been using since.This is my first lifting belt. It feels quality. The clasp and material were my main points of buying, and neither have let me down.
