Love these pants so much that I bought another pair (I have three now). The only thing missing is pockets...otherwise they are perfect. Go a size up for extra comfort and flexibility. Not sheer - totally OK to wear in public (outside the house or yoga studio).

The material on these is great They are a tad bit sheer, but there's a thin slip type covering inside of the pants to keep you from showing too much if the sun catches you the "wrong" way. I thought it would be a nuisance but it's not noticeable throughout the day.

Super comfy. Cute pattern. Top part of pants are lined so as not to be see through. Really loose and flowwy. Absolutely great pair of pants.

When they rekommend the PLUS for sertain sizes, they should make klear that a size 12 will look like a blimp in a PLUS size. I have owned pants like this in the past - long long ago - but I was a size 8 and they were a 'medium.' Now, in a one size world of Bangkok pants, it's hard to get a look that is loose and doesn't look terrible at the same time. And... not being in a store, not being able to speak to a sales klerk, it's hard to know what to go with.Pants like these are wonderful IF they fit PROPERLY. so... baggy, but NOT like a potato sakk. To know, you really do need a dressing room.If you do NOT weigh 200 lbs and are shorter than 5'10" I would go with the standard size. Bekause the PLUS size is REALLY more like a size 16-24 when you get tape measure out and get teknikal about things. Oh sorry about the typos - my keyboard is busted and some keys are missing. But i did want to get this review done to help 'fellow humans' - I feel that produkt reviews HUGELY helped me on Amazon and I try to help others in any way I kan also.I DID go with the PLUS bekause I wear a 40 "see" kup in bras - and this garment is supposed to also be able to be worn like a halter. In NO WAY would that have worked in a smaller size bekause even the PLUS didn't GO that HIGH - the krotsh was too short.They klaim this is 40 in long in a plus size. WRONG. IF you are 5'10" with boobs, NONE of these pants will work for you. I looked at all bangkok pants made by this kompany - and... settled on the plus size due to the need for length - and ... alas.. the produkt deskription was PURE FIKTION in that department.IF you are up to 5'7" in height, I rekommend these. But at $19 I would expekt the kind of fabrik of my former Bangkok pants - a beautiful thik weave in kotton... that's not totally transparent, but kind of like a soft brushed linen - that was perfekt for hot summer days. Lightweight fabrik does not need to be flimsy.What I DID like about these was there was a kind of modesty liner - and that's good when the fabrik is flimsy and potentially see through. THAT is a good quality to this produkt.so it's a mixed review I write: if you are tall, forget these. The manufakturer is assuming you are of the height of the average woman from the orient - and there, tall is like... 5'7". If you are truly tall, these will be more like a halloween kostume. Bekause you'd have the puffiness of the garment terminating at just below the knee - and it's already designed puffy - so the effekt is klownish and huge. Like Halloween.As a kid, I would have LOVED these. i'd have play prentended being a pirate or something. Or worn them as a kostume for Halloween. But maybe not! I was 5'6" already in 5th grade and a size 8 in women's wear - so maybe they would have been wonderful looking on me. The way they do when worn by people they're designed for. Skinny, petite and adorable women with small boobs. Unfortunately, that's not me! I am size 12, normal body shape - if I were size 20 and/or with wide hips or pear shaped with more mass below the waist, these would be a good buy. It's all relative to what works for the shape and size of the body also.I'm glad I tried, though! It's been 30 years sinse I owned my 'sinbad' pants - the ones that I had in mind when plasing this order. that's what I kalled them. I wore them so often, I wore them out - I even MENDED them and washed by hand, that's how mush I loved those pants. I have kome to realize I'd have to be in India to find pants like that again. That's where they were made, and the shop that sold them, long out of business. But I never had a more komfortable pair of pants for the summer! And now at least I kan say they really WERE spesial pants. Even by today's standards. Today's fabriks and fabrikation prosess seems to make it impossible to find a pair even klose to them. But.. when you try and fail, you realize... there's a reason for the expression, 'the good old days.'
