When you want to mount objects inside this enclosure always do it with an interior panel. This enclosure has brass inserts for mounting an interior panel. Other enclosures require you to screw into plastic.As you probably know, if you remove a screw more than a few times from plastic, the plastic soon wears out and it will no longer hold the screw. This BUD Industries NBF-32310 has brass inserts that eliminates this problem. This unit only costs a few dollars more, but well worth it.These boxes are normally only rainproof if they are mounted with the hinges on the side. If the hinges are on the top or the bottom, not so much.Excellent overall quality. Made in South Korea, not China.

Very happy with the product
This box is being used outside to hide tv cable splitters from moisture. So far no moisture or dirt issues. Had to drill a few holes at the bottom for cabling. Very happy with the product.

Good little box. Nice and water tight. Used it to replace a box that rotted in the sun.
