Easy to install with a few caveats
The Good: Easy to install. Removed the previous lights, plugged these in, push in and done! (almost)The Bad: The spring lengths are an inch longer and hence the lights wouldn't fit flush to the ceiling. I had to shorten them by bending them to get them to fit. The tension in the springs is pretty good and these are lightweight enough that the shorter length isn't an issueDetails: The earlier comments had images of different type of spring and so I was a bit hesitant to order these but the product image showed the spring I needed and so I went with these. In the box are 4 lights and a TP24 connector with an E26 bulb holder style end. I have specifically added images to my review to show how they look and the connectors so that you know what is in the box!! (cue "What's in the Box!!!" meme) :)The can interior height is around 4.5" so ideally the spring as-is should have fit since they spread out but they were hitting some part inside and the light was hanging about an inch down the ceiling. I had to hence shorten the length as shown in one of the images so that these would be flush. Each of the light has a sleeve which helps against draft (I guess)Pairing the lights with the Smart Life app was easy (sort of).. The accompanying booklet has really small text size explaining how to pair the lights with the app. For your reference: Install the app, Go to Add Devices and when the pairing starts, switch on the lights in the following order: On-Off-On-Off-On. Within a sec or two the lights will start flashing and the pairing will be successful. The app adds each light as an individual device but you can group all of them together. To do this, tap on one of the light entry, click the edit (pencil) icon, scroll down to Group and create a group. Add the remaining ones to this group so that you can manage the colors, brightness etc as a whole. I have an issue where one of the lights gets synced a little bit later than others. Time will tell if that deteriorates or functions correctly! I don't have Alexa or Google voice setup so no idea how good / bad that is

OK value, but risk mixing of models that you receive... (READ: compatibility/integration issues)
If you have ANY intentions to "group" your light (i,e., sync their states/colors/modes), read on...I bought two boxes (8x lights total; 4x per box) of these SUNTHIN recessed smart lights. Although they were easy to set up and connect, grouping the lights together was problematic. Why? Because despite their visible similarities, each box contained different models of the "same" light. I've confirmed this by extracting their device info from Tuya's IoT developer platform.4x qty = "model": "TY-DD-RGBCW-03", "product_id": "zbpxwwpfrnbz0uiu", [_original code spec]4x qty = "model": "Smart LED Down Light","product_id": "vbffgpdhky9hlifj", [_v2 code specs]Since they use different code standard, the app sees them as different (incompatible) lights, and is unable to group them. That means:- only 4 can be synced in "music mode" (the app limits music mode to one group)- one group has more "scenes" than the other- the smart app configuration UI is visibly (weirdly VERY) different for each group- building automations affecting both is cumbersome, as it requires duplicative/nested instructions that you send to each groups... and their timing isn't always perfectly synchronized b/c of that.Just wanted to mention this because, for me, the mismatch breaks one of the main reasons I had purchased these. Amazon stores should not be sending *different models* from the same URL unless it provides an option to select the model you desire. If they do, then the models should at least integrate seamlessly with parity --- these clearly do not.("SUNTHIN Smart Recessed Downlights, 6 inch LED Retrofit Recessed Lights with Color Changing and Tunable White, Voice Control via Alexa & Google Assistant, 13W, 1100LM Recessed Fixture(4 Pack)").If you're only pairing 4 or fewer of these (i.e., from the same box) and have no plans to purchase more or add additional lights from another box... then you're probably fine. For your needs, the "Smart Life" (Tuya) app works well AND integrate nicely with Google Home.

So far so good
Replaced retrofit can lights in our master bedroom with these so the wife could more easily control brightness and temperature... added bonus of using the playful colors when the mood strikes. Installation was easy (nothing unique to these lights, more the nature of the can and mounting mechanism). Smart Life app immediately detected all the lights (I didn't have to juggle my wifi bands to do it either), control worked immediately, no tinkering.Added the Smart Life skill to Alexa app, created a Smart Life account, and linked accounts without issue (led through the process by the Alexa app once you add the Smart Life skill). Alexa discovered the lights and boom, good to go with Alexa as well.So far no issues. The "music" mode requires you leave your cell phone out with the app open in order for it to "hear" the music. Put all the lights in a "group" to have them all in sync with each other in music mode.Lots of reviews about Smart Life things stopping working out of the blue. We'll see... this is only day 1. But that's pretty common with home automation stuff anyway at the present stage of maturity (pretty immature still)... changes to their interfaces break older interfaces, and at some point you get bit, have to uninstall and reinstall to be running the newest interfaces.

Glitchy
They’re nice and have lots of color options, definitely a cool vibe and does a lot for the vibe of the room/house. But sometimes I get hella annoyed w them cuz they’ll randomly flicker or start strobing and blinking and making super loud buzzing noises if your light settings are too bright or you flipped the switch on and on too fast or just weird little things like that. So their tedious and glitchy!!
