cat continues to play with it months after purchase
my kitten still plays with this toy, which is great because he usually bores of a toy after a day of playing with it. this toy got dirty so i put it in the washing machine-- turns out, it survived that very well, which is great because a lot of toys aren't machine-washable, and who has time to wash things by hand?

Not impressed, but still OK
Just a little disappointed in this toy. It looks and feels a bit cheap in materials and manufacturing. The round part in the middle of the toy is very hard, like a hard foam ball covered in very thin material. My cats haven't really taken to this toy, but of course that isn't necessarily the toy's fault. It does make a nice crinkly noise which attracts the cats but they lose interest quickly. Overall just an "ok" product.

Durable for Cat Nip Crazed Stud Cats
We raise and breed Siberian Cats and our males get large and when they love a toy they love it with a passion of claws, biting, chewing and destruction. It is hard to find a toy that will stand up for more than a single play session unless they are unimpressed with it and ignore it. This they carry around, sit on it, roll on it, chew on it, toss it around and even fetch it for me or my son. Our Siberian cats are crazy that way they do play fetch.Cat nip seems to be appealing though I freshen it up by storing it in a jar of my extra cat nip designated for cats (not what I make my tenson relieving herbal teas =). Kong has durable toys for most cats though some who really chew a lot it may not be safe.Only regret I have is I cannot pick out the color myself on Amazon. It's random. I like to keep specific colors to specific cats/groups so I don't mix up germs especially for kittens in the nursery and my son can mix them up.

My little guy loves this thing!
I bought this for my two cats figuring at least one of them would play with it a little bit. I have an 8-year-old, 17-pound male cat (probably part Scottish Fold and possibly a bit of Maine Coon) who has been getting a bit chunky and a 1-year-old, 10-pound male that I adopted last February. I figured my big guy would like this toy since it seems his type of thing, but the little guy pretty much claimed it for himself from the beginning. The one I received was pink in color (the unfortunate part of online shopping) and I was hoping for yellow since my little guy seems to love yellow. He loved it anyway and actually will carry it to a spot, drop it, kick it around, then carry it somewhere else. If I bump it with my foot when he is around he watches and will sometimes start playing with it as if "oh yeah, I forgot I left that there." I think I will get another one for them for Christmas so they can both have one...or so the little guy can have two (as it usually works).

Super small toy
The description says the tails are extra long and "perfect targets for hind paw kicking". I have a kitten and the toy is barely half his length. The tails are too short for him to easily reach with his back paws when he has the head in his mouth. He has much more fun with jumbo-sized dog toys that he can really attack. This would have been an awesome toy if it was bigger. Now it sits unused next to his bed.

cat loves it
I bought this toy for my kitty because of the good reviews, and honestly I thought it was cute. Inside its legs is some sort of crinkly material which is not annoying enough for the human ear to hear when the cat is playing, but just loud enough to entice him. The head is a rattle, which again, is not annoying to listen to when my cat is tossing this thing 5 feet into the air, and rolling around kicking and batting it, but he just loves the rattle... I can get him to come running from anywhere in the apartment with just a shake of the toy.I will say that my cat was not crazy for it at first. After the rave reviews I thought he would just tear it right out of the package, and of course every cat has its own personality, but he sort of ignored it at first. Now he really has taken to it and wubba-play is a part of our daily routine. He also likes it enough to play by himself. I recommend this toy

The "dog" loves it
This toy is really cute. Apparently not cute enough for our 4 cats. The dog however likes playing with it. Maybe cause of the catnip. Who knows? The duck is put together really well and I have found that KONG toys for animals tend to hold up about 99% better than most other animal type toys. With the dog gumming, pawing, and dragging the duck around it's still in good shape. Once in a while one of the cats will walk by and bat at it. In all honesty I admit that our cats aren't too thrilled with pretty much anything they have for toys, so I thought I'd try the KONG. I am impressed with the quality of KONG and the main result here is our dog likes playing with the duck, so in the end the KONG gets played with no matter which one of our furry, four pawed critters gets it.

Hyper Cat's Friend
I really had hoped this product would have been bigger, as the kitten (1yr old) I have loves to play fight, a lot. So far the toy is still holding together, but even though my cat is small he gets frutrated with it as he can't effectively "kick" it. I use it as a distraction when he comes after my hands when playing with him.
