Recycled tp tubes and egg cartons are transformed into a wonderful collection of animals
This is a darling book filled with a great collection of little animals made with mostly recycled paper tubes and cardboard egg cartons, materials that we all pretty much have an endless supply of. These recycled materials are easily combined with a bit of paint and glue with a few feathers thrown in and you you and your little crafters will have a zoo full of animals perfect to display and play with. There are excellent step by step photos with the directions and templates in the back.

Fun for Kids of All Ages!
What a wonderful book based on great ideas! HIGHLY encouraged for kids of all ages -- the beauty of the idea is that you don't need a lot of money or materials to help children be creative and learn about art, animals, et cetera. We need fewer video games and more books like these!

it is the type of book you can enjoy reading browsing through without actually making anything and it ...
This is a truly inspiring craft book. it is the type of book you can enjoy reading browsing through without actually making anything and it will bring a big smile to your face. The animals all have characters of their own. This is reflected beautifully in the artwork and the photographs contained on each page. the instructions are detailed and they even mention potential 'tricky' bits so you can' be prepared' !The equipment and materials required for the animals are so realistic- things we all have at home! The book really encouraged us to be creative and encouraged the children to create their own 'personannalities' all based on the animals in the book.I use blogs, books and the internet every day in my role as a Nursery Teacher and it is not often that a new book, like this one, excites and motivates me! I can't wait for more! Maybe turrets and tiaras? Under the Sea?

Make your own zoo . An Excellent childrens paper craft book .
What a brilliant book this is . My grand children have had great fun creating their favourite animals out of my old egg boxes . It's so well illustrated and easy to follow . I would highly recommend this craft book , what a great way to recycle old lo rolls and egg boxes and see them being transformed into a colourful zoo . We really hope there will be a farm yard one to follow soon .

Great fun, creative and imaginative!
I found this craft book one of the best. What I liked about it was it gave the children lots of ideas and once they got started on the suggested projects they could let their imaginations run wild. It kept them busy for hours and once they had made their zoo animals they spent ages playing with it and making enclosures. Start collecting your egg boxes!
