Overall I'm satisfied with this kit, though I believe the shifter is mismatched for the derailleur. After quite some time working on the adjustment, (with the Bog Blue Book handy). I got it as close as it could get to correct shifting, but it takes two clicks in some cases to up or downshift. BUT, on my test ride, the additional teeth on the rear sprockets were immediate noticeable, and performed very well. Once I knew that I had to use two clicks in most cases to switch gears, the shifting was a breeze. Since this is my spare bike (2015 Diamondback Overdrive) and wanted to keep the spend low, I'm satisfied with the result. Everything bolted up nicely.I'll continue to tweak and report back if I can make the shifting a bit better.

For being a 9 speed kit for $100, it's works decent. It took me a while to get the shifting smooth though. But I'd buy it again. Just not a huge fan of the shifter mainly because it doesn't fit well with my brake lever

First time getting a group set and I would recommend purchasing this way. Everything works great together. Installed quickly and had what I needed to get the job done. Shifts smooth and reliable.
