I ordered this mainly for the orange color and the chain that matched the bike, I got a normal chain. If you were buying this for color don’t bother.

Not as described orange and silver. This version is advertised as $20 more expensive than the one you get.Didn't return. I went out of my way to get this strong chain.

KMC use to make these for Shimano under they exciting "NX-01" (I believe) name, otherwise called "egg sideplate" chains. I got them as I was new to fixed gear and paranoid of having a chain come off on a fast descent. They have worked wonderfully, and, I suspect if paired with a narrow wide front chainring, you will NEVER have a chain come off unless you run a chain grossly, irresponsibly, saggy-like scraping the chainstay saggy. I will gladly take the extra 1.5-2 oz. for that piece of mind!

This is a great chain and have bought in the past (not from this seller) and the inner plates were orange as pictured in the description. I spent $9.00 more than it cost from another seller to get the orange inner plates. It even says so in the description — "Nickel outer plates and shiny orange-coated inner plates." They come nickel outer and silver inner plates, which may not provide the same rust protection as the orange-coated plates. That's why I gave 4 starts. This is a great chain otherwise.

There were no orange links. For the amount of money for a bike chain it should be sent as advertised. There is no way the vendor could not know they were not fulfilling as advertised.
