Snug as a bug in a rug!
My wife and I picked up a Sky Autana 3 a couple of years ago and have camped a LOT over the last few years. We have a couple we go out and about with who have a van and we've been camping later and later into the fall/winter. We had plans to go out the first weekend in November and saw that the temps were supposed to be below freezing so we decided it was finally time to get this quilt and I must say I'm very impressed. When we went to bed the first night we laid snuggled up in the bag under the blankets for a few minutes talking and within just a few minutes it was warm enough to just sit around inside of the tent. We had gone out the previous weekend or two which were also pretty cold and the difference with the quilt was very apparent. We also have the weatherhood and are still battling some issues with condensation in the tent. Hopefully we get that squared away. For now we're just bringing everything home after camping and drying it out.I can say for sure the quilted liner will definitely be going any time there are low temperatures in the forecast. It also has the added benefit of being an additional light barrier so between the weatherhood, the tent itself and the quilted insulator, it stayed dark in the tent even when the sun came up in the morning allowing us to sleep in a little longer which was also nice.If you're camping out in the cold with your Tepui, you need to get one of these!

Get a down comforter instead.
So I was definitely expecting something more solid than this. This insulation is pretty easy to install once you figure out the alignment. The first time I used it I was in Colorado (last Sunday night) and the temperature got down to the 20s at night. Now, setting up camp, I ran an electric heater in the tent with the insulation up for about 30 minutes while making dinner and eating. The tent felt semi warm by the time we were settling down and getting in the sleeping bag. Fast forward about three hours and it’s back to freezing cold. Now, I know it’s cold outside and we have a warm sleeping bag thank god, but it honestly felt like there was no insulation. My girlfriend gives off a ton of body heat, so much I could probably could cook breakfast on her abdomen (I feel like most females are like this) and outside the sleeping bag was freezing. I could see my breath. Would I buy again? Probably not. If you want to save money, find an old thicc blanket or down comforter and find a way to set it up in your tent and make it work. This feels like it doesn’t even work. Also it’s like some real light synthetic material so I’m not sure where they think this is insulation.

It adds warmth adds more comfort
What I don't like about it I will start up there. What I don't like I wish you was just a tad bit thicker and more insulation. But the good side of everything else I think it does a good job for the thickness of the insulation It definitely adds warmth. As for installing it it just clips in It's a little confusing at first but once you understand it's fairly easy. Has a skylight zipping spot so you can let fresh air into the top when it does start to warm up in the morning.Another thing I like about it is the all the corners of the bottom where it would tuck along your mattress It actually has a little extension piece that actually hooks underneath your mattress on the corners so it holds it in place It's not going to flop around. The clips are really sturdy. I bought it for the tapui tent ayer 1 It works perfect. The only difference between the new tapui tents and the old is the canopies itself so when you buy a newer one or an older one the base and poles and everything is the same. So if you're wondering about is it going to fit my older tapui tent Yes it will whether you have a two-person or a three-person it's going to fit. The only thing that they have changed is the canopies itself. Everything about to put tents is the same as for the frame and poles and everything else. Was so on at night that is about 35° in the Utah desert near Moab It probably adds about 15° roughly maybe 20. It depends on your tent really. I have a 12 volt heated pad underneath my two person sleeping bag so I get that warmth from underneath. I have the tent mounted to my overland trailer. That I can plug that 12 volt heating pad into. But it definitely adds a lot more warmth even that 10 to 20 degree difference it makes a big difference on a cold night.I did not buy the anodized hood yet I probably will but overall I'm so happy that I got this.

Your hoodie is warmer and thicker!
I was hoping other reviews were wrong about the quality, but they were right on point! I’m an avid camper and have been in the outdoors since I was a baby. Another review said it best, “it’s like a moving blanket but thinner!” You’d be better of getting canvas or possibly a moving blanket and hanging it over the bars. I would not recommend this product.

Well worth it!!!
Helped keep alot of the warmth in. Still having access to the windows was also a great benefit. Along with appropriate sleeping bags, kept us warm in low 30 degree (F) weather. Also folds down with the tent still allowing for it to collapse

Fits really well
This insulator is a perfect fit, insulates well, blocks sunlight, and doesn't make the tent any more difficult to fold up.
