Bamboo Cheese Grater with 2 Stainless Steel Graters. Cheese Grater Container Also Used For Vegetables And Fruit

I purchased two of these despite the negative reviews due to the Grater not sliding into the Holder. One as a gift and another for Myself. I really like how it looks and the concept. Being a novice woodworker I decided to risk it and if they arrived in unacceptable condition i would attempt to route the slots wider. As I feared, the slots cut into the holder were 0.22 inches and the Grater is 0.24 inches thick.I set up my router with a 0.25 inch slot cutter and set my fence to get the correct depth. I only routed the sides of the holder as the slot at the end of ther holder served to "lock in" the grater. After routing the slots the grater slides in nice and easy and locks in. A gentle pull and the grater slides right out.Worth it if you have a router and .25" slot cutter bit. If you don't its a waste of money.

Metal grater does not fit into box. The slots are to small to allow it to slide into the wooden part.
