Beware: these condiment bottles leak profusely but are fixable.
My family and I though it would be nice to have restaurant style glass condiment dispensers for our hot pepper oil, sushi vinegar, sesame seed oil, etc.I purchased this set of glass dispensers despite having read all of the negative reviews because I enjoy finding solutions to simple problems.-Yes, the weakest link of these bottles are the metal caps: large enough to screw onto the bottle effortlessly but they leak profusely down the sides without any cap seals/gaskets.+Simple solution: I simply wrapped a few layers of the food grade teflon tape (that I've seen the plumbers use on drinking water filtration system connections) along the screw portion of the bottles and Voila!, no more leaks. Appropriately sized rubber seals inserted inside the caps should also work.-The metal caps have a dispenser hole and are not closable.+Simple solution: I stick a round toothpick (wider than the hole and cut in half) in the dispenser hole to seal it.Overall: nice, effective, and decorative table top glass dispensers but bottle caps should be leakproof right out of the box and shouldn't require a consumer DIY fix-it solution!

Threads leak. Please sell with washers.
Pros; Nice heavy glass with threaded screw top. Square shape is easy to grab.Vinegar works well on your salad. Olive oil works well too. One or two shakes is good.Cons; After you put down the bottle the oil in the cap threads leak down the outside leaving a yellow stain on your table.Solution; The cap needs a thin washer. Since the cap locks tight, with only a quarter turn, it has to be very thin. I used a plastic seal from inside the cap of an aluminum pint can and cut it to size. If it's cut slightly larger in diameter than the screw cap it will stay in the cap. In the picture. I made the washer hole ragged, to distinguish the clear material. This washer is also safe for food use.

both caps leak leaving an oily mess after you use them
Look great, very retro but the caps, or more specifically the fact there are no washers inside the cap tops which result in both oil and vinegar leaking out after each use. Was going to toss them but found 2 o rings to use as washers which solved the problem. Still only 1 star as this problem has been reported by purchasers for years!

These look nice but they leak
I added balsamic vinegar to the bottle and the spout isn't tight enough to form a leak-proof seal. I had to use some Teflon tape to stop it from leaking and make it usable.

Leaking Vinegar from the very first try!
The tops are poorly milled metal that does not securely hold in the liquid. I was intending to use it for dispensing balsamic and white vinegar. No amount of tightening worked. Only buy this if you intend to not put any liquid into it!

Leaked on the counter
Used with olive oil in the bottle. Leaked all over the counter multiple times.Good: glass bottle, not plastic. Lid/nozzle is metal.Bad: Lid/nozzle leaks. The thread between the glass bottle and metal cap is a course thread. When the bottle is inverted, oil is trapped in the thread. Then when put back on the counter, the oil dripped out of the thread and down the bottle. Might be fine with vinegar?

These leak like crazy.
No matter how tight you screw on the tops, these leak like crazy. We ended up throwing them away. Don't waste your time or money. Don't buy these.

Poor Design
There is no washer in the cap so the vinegar and oil drip from the cap of each container after using. This is a very poor design.

Solution to leaky bottles…
I only gave these bottles 4 stars, because they leak, but one solution is an O-Ring. The one I used is an R-14, ID- 13/16”, OD- 1”, cross section - 3/32” —-, or - AS568 O-Ring standard #117. There was another suggestion to use plumbers tape, or Teflon tape. There is a solution….

It leaks
Do not buy.Not adequately sealed. Oil/vinegar drips down the sides after that use. Not very noticeable during use but enough to leave a ring underneath between uses. Very annoying

Good classic design
Update:Thanks to someone else's review and their tip about adding a small elastic to act as a washer, this product now works well.Good design, doesnt take up too much space in the fridge however.. it leaks from where the lid is tightened as there is no washer included otherwise this would get a 5 star review.

No nonsense vinegar dispensers.
Was surprised that when I went looking for these in my area, I couldn't find any traditional restaurant vinegar dispensers so had to buy these. 2 is perfect because I love Malt as well as White vinegar.Size is just.. alright. A little pricey.
