Sugru I000954 Mouldable Multi-Purpose Glue for Creative Fixing and Making, White, 8-Pack

Think playdo with glu.. or not, maybe putty...Anyways, I was selling our house, we had an inbuilt fridge and the plastic shelf holding up the milk was torn from the door by my heavy handed youngest, shes a one, I tell you.The result, I needed some way to fix the gaping hole left by the shelf, and to stick the shelf back in...I found a solution, using the product and clear gorilla tape, both combined did what batman never could.Problem solved.

This was bought from Amazon EUsarl. I needed some of this in a hurry to stick back some aerial cable after decorating. I also used it to repair an electric cable which had torn and split outer plastic down to the wires (but not down to bare wire). As such it did the jobs perfectly after being delivered next day.The only problem is that the use by date is only 4 months away. I had ordered a pack of eight just so I'd have some ready for future needs. However, I am now left with 5 packs that need using after April and before August 2021. Effectively £7-50 going to waste.Would have been 5 stars but for this. I'm probably going to end up with some extra kitchen hooks or model snowmen!

Two of my freezer drawer handles (the integrated into the drawer type rather than standing proud of the body) split. The Sugru is obvious to look at but it does the job very well. I used two whole individual packets so I could reinforce the inside, underside and outside (pictured). It works very well despite the freezing temperatures. Used some left over for my cup handle and as a collar for my phone adapter lead to stop where the split usually happens. Really easy to use. Excellent product.

I have found this to be an excellent product for repairs that I have used it for, two examples here:1. Cracked plastic hook on hoist controller - I was frustrated by repeated failure of the plastic hook used to hang the controller which required complete replacement of the hoist controller. I have used Sugru to effect a repair of the hook and have found it provided an effective repair that has proved to be very resilient - better performance than the original hook.2. Repair to release button of suitcase push/pull handle - the plastic release button had suffered impact damage in transit fragmenting the plastic button making the locking/unlocking mechanism of the handle unusable. Using Sugru I was able to reconstruct the press button by molding Sugru onto the remaining useful parts of the original press button molding to recreate the button and rescue a perfectly usable suitcase from the rubbish tip. It's an excellent product based on my experience.

Had this for a while, used 1 at first to fix a cable then used the excess to cover a hook i used for my back door keys. After having a summer house built, the wood like any wood has knot holes in it. i decided to use this to fill them and paint over to waterproof. Worked great, filling the holes no matter what shape and very easy to do with no mess. my only negative is for what it is, its expensive and you do not get a lot per pack. i could have used wood filler, this was just more convenient and less messy, but you really should get larger cheaper packets. Other than that, the stuff is great and easy to mould.
