Purchased as a gift. Aesthetically is it great and would please a Star Wars fan. As far as everyday use I am not sure how it would hold up. It seems durable but I didn't like the interior of the mug. It is not uniform due to the decorative nature of the mug. As a shelf or desk decoration I would give it 5 stars. For everyday coffee drinking I would just by a normal classic mug with Star Wars imagery on it.

The “paint chips” are battle scars of Boba Fett’s helmet. It even says it on the description. Boba Fett is a bounty hunter and gets into scraps so his helmet is never pristine and shows its battle scars. Giving a 1-star review because of “paint chips” when it’s specifically stated in the description is a bit disingenuous. The mug isn’t as robust as regular mugs because it’s a novelty item. Having stated that, I use it daily for my French pressed coffee and I even put it in the dishwasher and microwave. It’s been great.

Colors are not at all what they look like in the pic, which is a GOOD thing. Much more like Boba's helmet in the films. Love this, and at a wonderful price. Would make a great gift to any Star Wars fan, though it's probably easier to use for decor than for actually drinking.

This was a gift that went over huge with a dedicated adult Star Wars fan. Alongside the Star Wars cookbook he received , the receiver was eager to mix the drinks in the book withing the mug.
