FastCap 98204 2 oz Refill Adhesive Debonder for 2P-10 Glue Adhesives

Great for getting those two part glues and crazy glues loose although it still doesn't instantly remove it and still requires a little working it loose but does the job but wont completely remove, maybe after multiple applications. Should be cheaper.

This is one of those things that it's better to have and not need than to need and not have.If you use the 2P-10 system, there is a decent chance that you will glue one or more fingers to something you don't want them glued to. When you do, be patient and let the debonder work in. You may require more than one application. I've tried straight acetone and also lacquer thinner but neither are as good as using the 2P-10 formulation.

Warning! This batch of 2P-10 Debonder, lot 020719, was improperly formulated. It is nearly pure acetone.2P-10 is the best superglue debonder on the market! It has been an essential part of my toolbox for 15 years. The beauty of the product is that it cleans excess superglue from plastics without attacking the plastic surface at all.Today, I was cleaning up a bit of thin superglue from an expensive model. I brushed on the 2P-10 from a brand new bottle, and the plastic turned white and started to melt! At a loss, I scrubbed the solvent off with detergent & water, but the model suffered permanent damage. I smelled the bottle and could immediately tell the contents were not 2P-10 Debonder, but pure, very strong, acetone!I called Fast Cap LLC, the manufacturer, and they apologised. They also are sending two bottles of correctly mixed debonder as compensation. As a company, they definitely care about customers.Again, this review is made as a warning to anyone who has recently bought 2P-10 Debonder, lot 020719. The number can be found on the back label. It was incorrectly mixed and contains strong acetone. If you use it on plastic, that plastic will be damaged.

Works well enough for most materials that you accidentally stuck together. However, as is the case of most "Debonders" one must be careful on the material you would use it on, as the Debonder can adversely affect the materials integrity.

Don't work with CA glue without this.

I used this product as it contains an active ingredient recommended by the makers of crazy glue who warns not to use acetone as it may damage some lenses. This product sure melted the frame and stained the glasses. Evaporates fast but that is to be expected. I used it as directed and it stained my lenses that are now blured and melted part of the plastic frame. You pay for something to work and this does NOT work. May work on reduced car models etc but if you want to ruin your glasses buy this. It is indeed my experience and what happened to me. To be avoided for glasses for sure.
