Tiger Claw Board - Rebreakable Board - Average

I bought the red one for my eight-year-old son who loves all things karate. I wasn't surprised that he was obsessed with it! It was hard to break for a few weeks, so this got him a little discouraged. However, it loosened up as time went on. Months later, it breaks so easily that we will probably get another one at some point. Lots of fun in the meantime!

Wasn't sure what to expect when ordering this rebreakable board as I had no previous experience with them. This was for our grandson who is 5 years old. When it first arrived it was a bit 'stiff'. After breaking it a few times it loosened up and became easier to use. Our grandson loves practicing with it and the handles make it easier for me to hold while keeping my fingers out of the way of his kicks. We've seen a bit of wear on the foam covering - not bad - overall it is holding up well to an energetic youngster.

I bought the red & black boards as a gift for my club. They are nice and work well. My only comment is they don't look like the picture. The boards have large handles on either side. Although this makes them easier to hold, it doesn't train the board holder how to properly hold a board. I ordered these specifically because they were pictured without handles. Oh well, they are still lots of fun and I am sure everyone will enjoy them.

This board is fun to break.. The seam is quite tight but after you break it a few times it starts to wear in.. Love the handles but on the bad side having the handles on the board doesn't really teach the student how to hold a board properly. All in all it's a great buy

Product page describes blue color board as beginner level. Received my board and the description is showing as average. My 4 yr old was not able to break it as planned. My husband and I were able to break it, but only with force that a toddler would not posses. Very disappointed and also disappointed with amazon customer service for not providing any other resolution than for me to return it for a refund. The box that it shipped in had other items and was discarded. So now I have to buy a box for return. The customer rep told me to go to a store and spend a few dollars on a box. I'm so not a happy customer right now!
