Update - I contacted customer service because of the issue of the product rubbing against my gum and being uncomfortable. They offered to send me a brand new one that is smaller in size. Here’s a detailed account of my experience with it. Packaging and First Impressions: The device arrived in a neat, well-designed package with clear instructions. The mouthpiece itself appeared to be of high quality, made from soft, flexible material, which gave me initial confidence in its comfort and effectiveness. Fit and Comfort: The first night, I followed the instructions for fitting the device. It was relatively easy to position it in my mouth, and it did stay in place throughout the night, which is a significant plus. The design effectively holds the tongue forward, which did noticeably reduce my snoring. However, there are some critical comfort issues to address. The part of the device that fits between the teeth and the inner mouth tends to rub against the gums. This constant friction caused irritation and soreness, which persisted throughout the day. After about two weeks of adjusting to the device I found that it worked really well. My real only problem with the device is that around the two month mark the plastic bubble seemed to start getting weak and my tongue began to slip out. I’m going to test some similar devices due to the high cost of this TRD but will come back to it if I don’t find the others to be better.

1st - too expensive for what you get. Outrageous. But I was willing to try anything once. 2nd - even with the 1st night this was so uncomfortable. Your tongue is pulled so far forward that your bottom teeth press against the bottom of your tongue so much that it feels like your teeth are cutting through your tongue. 3rd - the suction on your tongue is lost within a matter of 30mins. You have to keep getting up and drying off the mouthpiece in order to try to get suction again. You can not sleep through the night like this. After just one night of wearing the mouthpiece as is told in the instructions, my tongue was so sore the next day that it hurt to eat anything. Dont waste your time or money on this item.

UPDATE: After my review, the seller reached out to me, informed me that they offer a full satisfaction guarantee, and issued a full refund via Amazon. Apparently, it is only the Amazon return channel that doesn't work - contacting the seller directly does work. My statement about being overpriced and not working still stands, though, so I'm bumping up my rating from 1 star to 3, for the good customer service. This a ridiculously overpriced simple piece of silicon (must cost them $1 to make). The design might work, but the problem is, it is very painful to use: it creates sucking vacuum around the tip of the tongue, so the tip goes numb and very uncomfortable in mere minutes, let alone the whole night. And of course their return policy is NO return policy. I understand they can't resell a used item from hygienic considerations, but at the ridiculous markup they sell it at, they ought to be able to suck up the cost. Shameful scam.

I have been using this for about 10 years. It was not available on Amazon when I first started using it, but that's how I buy them now. It works great for me and I have not snored since I started using it. 100% cured. It took me a few nights (maybe a week) to get used to it, but I no longer snore and I've become accustomed to it and find it comfortable. Also, my previous device was a hard plastic mouth guard that hurt my jaw. While that thing worked, I had to stop using it as it was causing jaw issues. This is much easier for long term use and the only "problem" is that now I can't really sleep without it. There are a few spots on my gums that were irritated by it when I first started using it, but then I trimmed off a few spots and it solved the problem. Now when I start a new one, I use the cutouts on the old one as a template. I have recommended this to several people over the years and about half of them have had success while it didn't work for the others. I agree with some of the reviewers that it is an expensive price for a simple product, but if it works to stop you from snoring it is well worth it for you and anyone who shares your bedroom. They last about 6 months for me, so it's about 50 cents a day. Good luck!

Useless and painful. Hurts gums and just doesn't work. Complete waste.

I've been using these items for about 10 years now and I'm VERY happy with them! I'm on my third one after my others eventually wore out from nightly use. I cringe at the price but considering how well they work and how many years they last, I can justify spending a substantial amount of money for somethings so simple. It looks like it shouldn't cost more than 5 bucks, but oh well, it works! Sometimes I forget to wear mine and I always regret it and wake up with a dry mouth. I'll spend this money again a few thousand days from now when my new one wears out. This newest one didn't come with a handy little storage case like my old ones, but at least I still have my old case I can use. If I remember at first it took a little while to learn to be comfortable with using them but now it's second nature. They include good instructions on how to learn to use them.
