Zancona Ground Coffee from Panama Medium Roast - Exotic Arabica Coffee Beans - Fresh Roasted Ground Coffee Specialty Grade Single Origin

Tried Zancona and loving it. I'm not a coffee snob, but I know what I like and from time to time search for a coffee or blend that gives me full taste without being skunky or bland, burned or well, bad. Adding this to my three coffee arsenal of which number three is a back up- so it's a top two for me, no question about it. Zancona has great flavor profile, is a fine grind for my Aeropress and if microbreweries have a roasting equivalent, this qualifies certainly in flavor. This is not a session coffee either, like something you only drink after a crisp holiday stroll. This is everyday goodness. Thanks Zancona great job, great cup!

Update: Edit rating to 4 stars. My coffee was expired by 3 months when I received it. It was disappointing, however they gave me the option of a full refund or replacement bag. I chose the full refund. The coffee tastes okay considering it's not fresh. They also gave me a coupon and were very professional about the whole issue, so that was appreciated.I am only giving 2 stars. Coffee smells fragrant out of packaging. Production date on bag of 4/15/16 ... the date is blurred a bit but appears to say an expiration date of 4/15/17 ... 3 months ago. I thought based on the item details that I'd be getting fresh roasted coffee, not a bag that's been on the shelf for a year. Disappointed, but maybe I'll change my mind if and when I taste it.

I drink a lot of different types of coffee and this is one of the few that has ever given me a headache. I brewed the coffee three times to make sure it really was the coffee causing the headache. I rarely get headaches overall so I know it was the coffee.

I didn't care for the taste or smell; it didn't have that robust taste and smell when you first open a fresh bag of coffee. Given the expiration date was May 1st didn't help when I received the coffee at the middle of April. It makes me wonder how long this had been on the shelf. Oh well.

Overall, this was alright. The taste was fine, it tasted like coffee. It's just not strong enough for me or my husband (caffeine wise).I'm used to more of a caffeine kick with my coffee. This is too mild for a morning cup for us. This feels more like something you would want to drink late afternoon when you need a pick me up but still want to be able to get to sleep at a normal time. I should probably also explain my caffeine tolerance,which my husband is similar to me. If I am sleepy enough, I can drink a Red Bull and fall asleep 15 mins later. So keep this in mind when reading my review.In the end, its a personal preference. This might be the perfect amount of caffeine for some, just not me.

I was looking for something that held flavor & didn't result in residue when I used the personal K-cup. Positive reviews for this product made my final decision & I will definitely re-order. This lovely medium roast coffee was perfect...the gorgeous package design draws you in to the final result! I love this brew in my recently ordered Black & Decker 5 cup coffee maker....I just enjoy brewed coffee once or twice a day, too. Will be checking to see if they offer a bold roast.

I tried a variety of coffee grounds on Amazon and offline over the past year, cheaper and more expensive ones, and I kept coming back to this one. This coffee just has the right balance for me. Flavorful but not bitter or overpowering, great aroma, and is consistent in flavor. Everyone has their tastes in coffee, and if your tastes are like mine, this one will be a near perfect coffee for you.

This coffee is delicious! I actually ordered it to get free shipping on some other items, but I'm pretty sure I'llBe ordering again! A treat for my one income family for sure!
