I'm no audiophile, price aside, would you say this unit is the better choice over the clarion mcd360?

yes i say the prices is better and the sound is the same

My crossover doesn’t have a harness can I purchase that without purchasing a whole new set up

Theses crossovers are fairly cheap. I don't see where anyone is offering just the harness.

Does this come with a harness for the positive negative and remote connection.does not look like wires can be connected to the connections on pre amp

It doent come with any harnesses. Didnt understand the second part of you question
