Great battery box heater
My Lithium batteries should never charge below freezing so I needed a good large surface area gentle heat. I have two installed and they pull 40 watts each for a total of 80 watts to keep the batteries above freezing. I tested and it worked great and slowly raised the temp inside the box. I will rarely activate them as the insulation will keep the box temp.

I like this. The down sides are that it covers up the jar, so you cannot actually read the temperature. Also, I am still searching for one that has an actual temperature control, but I'm not sure that exists. It is easier to work with than the belts, and I'm thinking about sandwiching it between plates of glass or in a frame so that I can set things on it. For me, it works best as second ferment when I'm wanting to separate the whey and curds.

Works great
Simple design very flexible and seems durable the only issues I have are the electrical tape doesn’t want to stick to it without using an excessive amount in my opinion but it heats up evenly across the whole film and rolls up nice and neat when not in use to save space. Definitely recommend this product

Pefect Solution to maintain stable fermentation temp
Perfect! I started my wine hobby and the basement is too cold in the summer when the AC is running (cold air settling to basement). Was using a heater to try to heat the entire room - until the electric bill arrived! This is the perfect answer. Paired with the Digital Temperature Controller for Homebrew and Hydroponics Sold by The Weekend Brewer it is working perfectly. It is only 35W compared to a 1000W heater and holds temp far better. My yeast have never been happier! Liked it enough to by a second set so I can ferment 2 at a time.

Very happy with this unit
I bought this because my brew house is in an unheated shed located in the Midwest. During the winter my fermenting controller (freezer with controller) only cools and doesnt allow me to use it below 50f. I just used this on my first beer and it worked perfectly. It is 19 degrees Fahrenheit today and my beer is at a perfect 50f. Highly recommend this unit.

Must reinforce the two plug connections
When brand new, this did the trick of keeping my homebrewed beer at ideal fermentation temps. However, it's fragile and the electrical connections will pull away from the plastic very easily, which in turn rips the plastic. This happened on just the third time I used it. I was able to cut the torn plastic back, repair the connection and reinforce with electrical tape. However, after 6 months of not brewing and needing a hot fermentation for my Kviek yeast, it's not producing any heat. I have ordered the FermWrap with rapid shipping so I don't lose my batch. If I were to order this brand again, I'd reinforce the connections with electrical tape right from the get-go.

Heats 7.5 cubic ft chest freezer to 72 easily in unheated barn
I'm using it inside a 7.5 ft^2 chest freezer inside an unheated building in combination with the inkbird wifi controller to maintain fermentation temp of 70.The building internal temperature is a low of 25f. Has no issues maintaining 70f in an empty freezer. The inkbird cycles the pad on at 69 degrees and off at 72. About every 15 minutes it turns on.When you add the thermal mass of a 5 gallon primary fermenter it obviously works better with less cycling. It is very slow to heat it the first time. About 10 hours to go from 35-70f but not unexpected with low wattage.

You get what you pay for
I bought this product to manage temperature of my brew during lagering in cold weather. In spite of the reviews I decided to try it. Unfortunately I didn’t heed the reviews and experienced some of the same problem. The wire connection to the thermal film was weak as warned and broke during the first use. I even taped it to the fermentation carbouy.

Works great
Works great so far, warms up Carboy in app. 4 hours, wish I had purchased a regulator also because if you don't watch it, the Carboy gets to hot.

No more guesswork
Took the guesswork out of fermentation temperature when used in tandem with the Inkberg temperature controller.

Works Great !
Works great. We moved wine making downstairs to the basement so we needed a heater. This works great with the fermentation temperature controller.
