Very poor quality
Didn't stay on, poor visibility of time. Returned the clock. Very disappointed

Disappointing
The item markets as a newer version with ability to dim and have the clock stay on all the time or go on standby. Under the descriptions it shows as having a proper power cord and plug to connect clock to wall. The item received was not as described. It was attractive despite being cheaply made. However, it was the older model with no dimming options. It did go on standby mode but there was no feature option to have it remain on all the time. The power code came without a plug. I’m returning it for false advertising. Despite being on sale, given the features it was missing, it wasn’t worth even the sale price.

Very bright
I like the look, and the simplicity. It has a few extra features I don't use yet, like USB ports for charging devices. Seems like a clever idea for an alarm clock in today's world. It was very easy to figure out how the buttons worked. I don't know why so many reviews complain about that. I set it to not cycle through the temp or date, just shows the clock all the time, although the colon does blink, which is unfortunate. It hasn't been distracting while I sleep however. I was disappointed that the lowest brightness setting is what I would think the brightest should be. Unless you are using it in direct sunlight, which seems odd for an alarm clock, it just doesn't need to be that bright. It isn't so bad that it bothers my sleep, but I'm not overly light sensitive. Those who are would find it too bright, I'm quite certain. Otherwise seems to work fine and keep good time. I don't use the alarm so no feedback on that function. I also haven't tried the "voice activated" commands, don't see that coming in to play for me. I just wanted a basic simple clock with red letters that looked kind of interesting on my desk. This fits the bill. More dimming would have been nice though. If I find something better I'll probably relegate this clock to the shop or something. I also wish that the power cord came off the back with a 90 degree plug instead of a straight plug. It sticks out quite far and makes it difficult to route the cord in an unnoticeable way. It seems out of place on the otherwise sleek formfactor. Also, why didn't they just make it a standard micro USB plug instead of a special unique USB cable that is difficult to replace if needed? I could see using a special cable so you can make a 90 degree plug, but they went straight anyway so might as well just been a standard thing....

Cheap piece of crap
Poorly made, stopped working after a couple of months, just started showing gibberish on the screen. Having to make a noise to see time is annoying, and even the dimmest setting is too bright for night time.
