Although this company deceptively marks this product as aluminum free, it really isn’t true. This products primary ingredient is potassium alum, which does contain aluminum (that can be absorbed into the skin). So, if you are looking for a natural deodorant to avoid aluminum, look elsewhere. It’s basically just a different form of it. I just wish that I didn’t waste my money on this, since I bought it in a rush without doing thorough research. Even if this form of aluminum is slightly safer than typical aluminum deodorant, in my opinion it just isn’t worth the risk.

When I decided to move on from using more harmful deodorants, I tried several other natural deodorant brands (5-6) before l discovered this nakd deodorant spray. My issue with the other natural deodorants was that they either did not apply smoothly, too hard and flaky or too soft. They also did not last "all day" or even some of the day as claimed. This lasts all day for me, and well into the next day depending on my level of activity.Overall, this is the best deodorant I've used in my life, and I’m glad I decided to make the switch. Based on reviews, I decided to give this one a try. It is just as effective if not more so than non-aluminum based products for both deodorizing and anti-perspirant but without clogging the pores with harmful ingredients. Your skin is able to breath. So, while this will not prevent your body from doing it's normal thing such as sweating like a harmful gel based aluminum antiperspirant will you're still much better off for it as it is effective enough in dealing with odor. It is also very economical and lasts for ages, they claim that the bottles will last 3-4 months of daily use. It’s amazing that this one ingredient is both effective and gentle. My underarms have never been irritated by this deodorant, and I am proud to say that I never smell bad, either! I can’t imagine ever switching back. Highly recommend and it’s worth a try if you haven’t already!

This is the most amazing deodorant replacement. I have been using their crystal stick version for the past year and I’ve decided to give this a try. I spray it two to three times under each armpit, right after I take a shower, and it keeps the body odor at bay. It also looks like it's going to last for quite a while. I have to mention that my body odor (especially when I sweat even a little bit) is quite strong, and doesn't smell good. This little baby has made me smell normal like everyone else, and by that, I mean I don't smell bad anymore. It took me a while to figure out how to use this one properly, so here go the directions. For strong body odor, spray four to five times (don't hold back), then put your hands on your thighs so that your armpits are folded, now rotate your arms forward and backward a few times to rub it in well. This way there should be no bad odor, even until the next day!

This is hands down the most effective natural deodorant I've ever tried. While other natural deodorants either work by (unsuccessfully) trying to cover up the smell of body odor, or contain toxic antibacterial agents like triclosan, this deodorant spray works by "preventing BO," so to speak. Using non-toxic natural mineral salts, it turns your armpits into surfaces on which odor-causing bacteria can't grow. True to the product's claims, I've found it to be long-lasting (up to 24 hours), non-staining and it leaves no white residue behind. It's also not tested on animals, contains no aluminium. The liquid version of crystal-type deodorants solves just about all of the problems that I had with the actual crystal sticks in the past: they were messy to apply properly (since they need to cover the entire underarm as well as a good portion of adjacent skin in order to be effective), tended to slip out of the container and/or my hand and shatter easily, and picked up strange smells over the course of their lifespan. For some reason, I've also had a difficult time finding liquid crystal deodorant sprays in stores, so this multi-pack was a welcome find, not to mention an excellent value. (Tip: Add a few drops of your favourite essential oil to a bottle of liquid crystal deodorant to create your own custom deodorant!). I’ve tried other crystal deodorant brand sprays (Crystal Deodorant & Thai Crystal Deodorant) in the past and found their spray pumps of low quality, this one however has never let me down. It's cost effective, easy to use, and it WORKS!

I was a little skeptical when I first bought this, but wanted something without all the chemicals used in many deodorants. Before making the switch to natural deodorant, my armpits were dark and the pores were clogged. I also found that no matter which deodorant I used, especially the antiperspirant ones, the deodorant would somehow make me smell worse. After going through a stint of trying, and wasting a lot of money, around 8 normal deodorants within the span of the summer months (I was desperate), I decided to try my luck with this. I tried the crystal rock form, but I found it extremely inconvenient and unhygienic. I don't smell, I stay relatively dry (even though it's not an antiperspirant), and my pores are no longer clogged. Smooth pits! This is the first deodorant with no toxics that really works for me. Recently tested to capacity whilst on holiday in the hot Caribbean and it didn’t let me down. I couldn’t be happier as I have very sensitive skin. The only thing I’m getting used to is the lack of scent it has. When I sweat, I can feel it a little, but it doesn’t smell. However, I have adopted a plant-based diet so when I sweat now (even without the deodorant on) there isn’t much of a smell anyway. Great product and toxin free. Definitely recommend it.
