Before buying this assy, turn off your fridge. Let the upper section thaw. Do not open the freezer. Take the shelf's out. Take the rear EVAP assy out. See if the hole has ice in it. If it does, pour hot water to melt the ice. If it fully melts, you will hear the water go straight down. If it is clear, pour (tbsp) of baking soda into the hole. The part that you are looking at is only for fridges with French doors. The EVAP assy is narrower than the full door assy that you have. Also, you have a melting plate on the bottom of EVAP assy. Good luck.

Q: Will this work for rf18hfenbsr Samsung fridge?

I no longer have that fridge. For 12 years it worked well, but frosted up in the upper evaporator. Cannot attest to your fridge type, but the parts you describe help with rebuilding the drain part of the evap cooling fins. Also the tubes for the back of the fridge can clog up, but mine never did so I didn't need those parts. Had a further failure and frost up that I couldn't repair, thus the fridge was replaced

The check valve in the lower tubes was different than the original parts. What really makes this kit the "fix" is the longer "T" piece that actually extends from the heat rod down into the upper drain tube to keep it from icing up at the top.

It should fit your fridge. I installed it in mine after the first fix stopped working. This was more extensive than the first fix. However, after 3 months I had the same issue with water leaking into my bins. Samsung should stick to electronics. Their fridge is a piece of garbage. Mine was 2 years old and I ended up getting rid of it. I got sick of the leaking water and the freezer shutting down unexpectedly.
