A great book, but it requires a lot of work
The complete works is roughly the size of a small phone book and the text was written in the 1600s (with minor edits by the modern editor). It’s a fascinating read, but it’s work. You really have to dig into this one. If you’re interested in Dampier, the fabulous biography of him, A Pirate of Exquisite Mind, is required reading. Enjoy!
