Planet Wise Lite Hanging Wet Bag - to The Point

We bought one of the large Planet Wise Wet Bags for the clothe diapers we use for our son. The classic, or original, version is great. We loved it, it's heavy duty, does well to hold odors, and overall is great.We decided to try one of these for when our son goes to his grandparents for the day. First impression, not impressed; flimsy, extremely thin, nothing like the other version we bought. Regardless, we decided to give it a try, since it would only pull light duty with our parents.It did work decently well, it was waterproof, and held in odors decently, although not as good as the original. It survived two cycles through the washer before we noticed several strings hanging off, and by the third cycle, 2/3rds of the seam on one side had completely come off. Now this is a double seam bag, so the outer most seam is still intact, however considering this is almost $20, I really would've expected better. I do plan to sew the seam back, but I'm guessing the waterproofness of the bag will now be compromised.Overall, we wouldn't buy another Lite version. The classic is excellent and survives much more abuse, if we started with the Lite version, I'm guessing we wouldn't have used Planet Wise ever again.

We used this bag for about two and a half years in rotation with the double layer wet/dry bag for storing dirty cloth diapers before laundry day. After two and a half years, the zipper broke. This bag is one layer, lightweight, but definitely water resistant. Still, I prefer the wet/dry bag. The handle placement of this lightweight bag puts pressure on the zipper opening when the bag is full and heavy. I will be purchasing a wet/dry bag for a replacement because the design of this bag isn’t as sturdy.

I have both this one and the double layer wet/dry bag. I definitely prefer the other. It seems better made for the few extra dollars. This one has the zipper on the front rather than on top which makes it a bit awkward. The bag's okay overall. But I wish I would have just bought two of the slightly more expensive bags.**Update** My zipper broke 7 months into use. Don't bother buying this bag.

The bag is a bit smaller than I expected, but that's probably my fault. I hang it on the corner of my changing table to hold dirty cloth diapers, and it holds about a day's worth of dirty pocket diapers with inserts. (I have a 6 week old.) I just throw it in the wash with the diapers and hang it inside out to dry, and it's ready for use the next day. I love that the zipper keeps the diaper stench contained, unlike my other wet bag, which was gifted to me.

This product does the job, stitching quality is far from good. After reading so many great reviews I had better expectations. Luckily I know how to sew to fix when stitching falls apart.

This is my second planet wise wet bag. I loved the thin material and use it in our regular rotation. I do had tearing at the handle already and it’s only a few months old :/

Love this for my son's cloth diapers. Fits 3 days worth of diapers in there... Perfect for our wash routine.

This bag is great for us to hold 2 days worth of cloth diapers. Easy to wash with the diapers. There are some strings that have come off of it. Sometimes I worry it will rip when I pick it up, but so far we've been using it 6 weeks and it has held up.
