Really nice solid. I wasn’t expecting such good quality. I have used at the. Each and it works PERFECTLY. It’s permanently in the soil of our back garden holding up our parasol. Love it and will buy more when needed

I'm using this for a heavy metal birdhouse mounted on a pole. However, I can see why this anchor would work in sand or soil as it's heavy steel with a very wide and long spike to sufficiently support a beach umbrella.My mounting pole came with a plastic sleeve that had to be carefully submerged in the ground than surround by rocks to anchor it. The pole is still wobbly so I decided to search further and the Ammsun anchor is exactly what I wanted. It keeps the pole and birdhouse stable and straight. It doesn't shake in the wind and is steady since I attached a metal 18" squirrel/raccoon baffle to the pole. In our world of mass produced plastic product this anchor offers the weight and stability offered by steel.

I put this to use as a flag pole stand so I do not have to put hardware on my house that will eventually fall of because of high winds. Works Great....

Can no longer hang a flag on my home.This is fine for temporary flag holding my yard.Adjustable for different width poles.Good price!

It’s a good product. Makes it so much easier to get the pole of the umbrella into the stand. The wind at the beach can be so bad that it literally pulls your umbrella right out of the sand. It embarrasses the hell out of me to have to run after my umbrella and chase it down the beach. This really does keep it in place. I was torn between the plastic screw like one and this one. Happy I went with this type as it is easy to get it into either wet or dry sand. I actually have a half tent/ umbrella and it still works great!

Originally purchased (2) out of frustration of my lovely beach umbrella constantly being pulled out of the sand during a mild to strong wind at the beach. I've used those "twist turn" beach stakes and they too are NOT reliable against wind. The sand anchor arrived just in time for an outdoor picnic at a local park and had a very successful test run. The anchor has great adjustability and my 1.5" "Business & Pleasure" holiday beach umbrella fit perfectly within the post without any struggle. Staking the anchor into the grass was easy and once in the ground it DID NOT BUDGE! The wind was fierce and blew over neighboring picnic's tailgate tents while my beach umbrella was secure thanks to the sand anchor. After the picnic was over I received several compliments and inquiries on how my umbrella didn't blow away and where to get their own anchor. I will not go to the beach or park without my sand anchor ever again! GREAT PURCHASE!

I have 3 Umbrellas and none of them fit into this stand. Make sure you get a smaller umbrella, Max 1 inch for this stand and you'll be fine.The stand is made well. But isn't a one size fits all.

Works well in different soil types.

Started going to the beach but every time i set up the umbrella it would eventually be knocked over by the wind. With the sun being so hot and temperatures getting to over 40*C i needed something to provide my son and I some shade. I looked at a new umbrella which can be super expensive. Then i found this. Its perfect! Its reasonably priced and simple to use. My umbrella is way thinner than most beach ones and it holds it. It was easy to push into the sand then i just stepped on it to make sure it was secure. The anchor is sturdy and solid. I have now used it a few times and no issues. I no longer have to chase my umbrella down the beach!! I’ll take pictures next time i go if I remember my phone!

This thing is super sturdy and holds the umbrella very well. My only complaint is that I still find it difficult to push into the sand. I have to bring a rubber mallet, or install it not as deep in the sand.

We had this since the spring and it stood up to all kinds of winds in our backyard. It was used in the soil mostly but we took it to the beach once and it worked just fine in the sand as well. Very sturdy.

This umbrella stand was a lot more sturdy and well made than the picture made it appear. It also came with a really nice carrying bag. A great price and a good buy.
