Bad A$$
The wood system on the ceiling of my garage gave up before this marvel of engineering even flinched. Easy to use and quality of product is excellent. I used it to life the front of my lawnmower and other heavy projects, so I know I can trust this winch.

Ok for a cheap winch
Wire cable is really stiff and the ends of the wire cable are fraid so be careful not to cut yourself, quality is not good but you get what you pay for

Perfect to tighten up Dog run zip line !!
I took a chain-link fence corner post which is a diameter of 2 3/8 inches and welded it to another post and set it into concrete giving me a very tall post, and I welded the winch to the side of the post. No problem. Then I took do you wire that came with it off, and replaced it with 384 feet of one 16th inch stainless steel braided cable wire, observing how the original cables attached to the reel. The new wire has a breaking tensile strength of more than 300 pounds so it was more than sufficient for a dog run zip line. I attach the line to the winch reel, and cranked it on about 20 turns, then I got an electric drill and spun the rest of the wire from the supplied reel to the winch reel, it went very very fast. I ran the wire to a pulley attached tool hook at the high end of the pool and now the zip line is way over my head but because I can tighten it from the “ground“, I don’t have to worry about turnbuckles or any other tension devices. I ran the water all the way across my yard to a hook in my soffit board of my house just blow the gutters, and now my dog can run the entire length of the yard I want to downlink chain attached to a pulley that runs the length of a zip line.Just for yucks I spray painted the whole thing black which matched how I spray painted the galvanized corner post, and I fully expect it will last much longer than I will live.
