Shurtape PC-609 Industrial Grade Cloth Duct Tape is a 10 mil thick polyethylene-coated cloth duct tape used in the HVAC industry for sealing metal and flex duct work, and patching and mending thermal insulation. Favorite Black Tape
I really love this stuff for all sorts of repairs. Especially now that shipping is such an issue & difficult to get home goods when you need them, the tape comes in handy. I recently repaired three garbage cans. & they are holding up just fine. Just make sure you get the industrial tape. The paper black tape is not so great.

Incorrect Product
A little upset about this order. The product pictured and received is NOT what the written description says. Thought I was receiving Industrial Strength as in written description but got Professional Grade as pictured. Not sure if this is just a mistake or intentional but surely I'm not the only one to have noticed. But all in all aside from not being what I wanted or thought I ordered, it's a decent tape and the package arrived in time without damage.

Not Gaffers tape. melty.
So this tape says "cloth". I was looking for a better deal on gaffers tape and found that there are many dealers who have products that are gaffers tape but say "cloth duct tape" instead.This is not Gaffers tape. The picture shows a matte finish, but the tape is very glossy, slick and not muslin type cloth but a fiber weave that resists tearing. The glue has really heavy duty stick, but is a low temperature glue that stays on surfaces above 65 degrees f or so. Not good stuff for temporary use.3 stars because it shows up in the top 100 when I search gaffers tape black 2" and it is not that product.-1 star because amazon will recommend I rebuy it when I search gaffers tape for the rest of my life or until alibaba cleans up it's u.s. market act.

Great tape, fast service.
This is the best duct tape that I have ever seen, it is not that junk at big box stores for sure. I actually used it on some AC insulated tubing and it is straight up firm and solid. This is my go to for tape from now on.Service was prompt too. A+ on the purchase.

expensive
I store on my big truck shifter and it slips to make a cone. Weathers well outside on my sleeper window, cold & rain. Rips well.
